If you do not have a medical background, you might not get this post....
I'm an RN and I was at work the other day, thinking about how I am going to start incorporating MN in my regimen (I bc'ed the other day). I was thinking to myself about the reported headaches people are getting while using this on their scalp. So I thought to myself.....
(1)Maybe these headaches are caused my vasodilation due to the nitrates in MN. We all know that nitrates cause headaches.
(2) Also I was thinking, is it the nitrate in MN causing the growth or is it the yeast killing properties of the miconazole?? The vasodilation of the nitrates could be causing increased blood flow to the scalp, resulting in increased hair growth ??? If that is the case, wow, what would nitropaste do on the scalp (I would not do this )
And last but not least.....Could something as simple as a coke (caffeine) ease the headache? We all know that caffeine vasoconstricts.
These are my thoughts. Tell me what you think.
