Hey ladies.

Finally, I got things straigthened out on my website so I'm now able to upload pics again...long story. The appearance of my album has changed a bit, and all the pics I had on the site aren't there anymore...I will try to put them back, the others were lost /images/graemlins/frown.gif However, I did put in newer pics and some extra special "October" pics to frighten...I mean brighten your day. Have a peek, if you dare...bruuuhaaaa! /images/graemlins/flyingwitch.gif

I really like your current style pics.
I think you October pics are funny.

How long do you keep your braids in? adn im jeal that i cant cornrow as good as you yet. But dont worry i'll catch up and show mine off too. LOL

Thanks ladies, I thought I'd give you a laugh to brighten the start of you week. My hubby and I couldn't stop laughing at the thought of me exposing you all to such a sight. But, it's all in fun...not trying to make someone unable to sleep tonight. Remember, "there's no such things as gouls" /images/graemlins/rofl.gif

keke, I had those braids in since Sept. 9th, and just took them out...that is actually the longest I have ever left my braids in. I usually leave them in for 2 1/2-3 weeks and then take them down for a week before putting them back in. Now that it is getting old, however, I will probably leave them up a month then take them down, deep condition and treat my hair before putting them back in. With the winter weather, I tend to leave them in longer so that I'm not messing with my hair too much...having the heater on and drying my hair is why I leave them up and just keep moistening them with braid spray with a mix of EVOO in it, twice a day. It's so important to keep the hair moist during the winter (heater) months. I find if I deep condition and put moisturizing creams on my hair, then leave the braids up to trap the products in, this helps tremendously with preventing dryness.

I love your braids Cybra. If had I the money I would fly to Missouri so you could do mines /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You are soo talented...I am lovin' the braids! Is that a mint julupe(sp?) mask by queen helen? I love them, they make your skin feel soo good!

BINGO! Sometimes I mix a few drops of EVOO in it before putting it on my face...it depends on my skin's needs. But, I try to use a mask at least once a week...no more than twice though. But, I use Saint Ives gentle exfoliating scrub almost everyday, again, with a little EVOO in it. I also use MOMs almost everyday too...put it on right out of the shower, leave it on about 5 mins, then rinse it off. It truly does help make your skin beautiful. I'm so thankful to the ladies who first started sharing this info, it's truly a keeper for me.

Your pics are so pretty, as always Cybra. It looks like you ladies had a great time at your meeting last month. Those gift packs look fabulous! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks ladies, I truly appreciate your compliments. And yes, our meeting was the bomb! We do owe it to Angel54 though, she and her mom took all the individual products that were sent to her and put them together in the beautifully wrapped arrangements that you see, they were in 3 different colors. That was a lot of work, but it made the room look as though it was someones birthday, but we all got the gifts. What a wonderful time we had and the food was good (although I think most had to take home doggie bags it was so much).

You ladies are great for a girl's self-esteem /images/graemlins/kiss.gif

Lol at the mask. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Looks like everyone had a great time at the St. Louis LHCF meeting and racked up on products.

Your hair looks wonderful as does the whole family's hair. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks sweetie. Like I said in my oldest daughter's pics, she makes me mad because her hair is growing at a rate that's not human and she HATES doing her hair or getting it done. She's 23 and I threatened her with grounding if she didn't let me do her hair, which is why I got those pics...fyi, you know she's too grown to be grounded /images/graemlins/wink.gif But, I have shared many tips from the board with her and my hubby. He loves Surge.../images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Wow! I like how you set up your album! Awesome pics of your hair! Keep up the good hair care! /images/graemlins/clap.gif

/images/graemlins/lachen70.gif Sis, I am still dying here over your October look pictures. /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif I've gotta tell ya, if you showed up at Hogwarts looking like that, they'd probably hire you right away for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif (Poor Snape; how can he ever hope for that post when more suitable candidates keep showing up every time. /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif /images/graemlins/rofl.gif )

*Nonie uses the momentum from /images/graemlins/rofl.gif to roll away as far as possible laughing her head off, lest she get clonked on the head with a...with a...with a broom* /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif

(Wooh! Thanks for that belly workout, Sis! /images/graemlins/grin.gif I felt the burn. Now let me go look at the other pics.)

Beautiful pics, Sis. I love your new album and how organized it is. The St Louis Meeting looks like it was da bomb. I feel so proud to be a part of forum of such beautiful women, both inside and out. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your hair is looking good! How do you like the Johns Freda's Relax line?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hey AC, as for the JFR line, I like it but I don't use the blow dry stuff too much to give a real opinion. I love the serum and the other products though. Have you ever tried them? I know some people don't think they do all that much, I guess it depends on your hair type and just how much damage is being treated with the products.

Oooo sis, you know you are so wrong airing family business out in public...then again, I guess if I wanted it to be a secret I shouldn't have posted pics, huh? /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif You are such a nut...glad I could place a smile on your sweet face. Just don't let the kittens see the pics, they might not be able to get their "frightened up" hair back down /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
