Air Dry Rollerset???

So, with airdrying, the NG gets silky straight also??? If not, does anyone else have methods of straightening that doesn't involve the use of a flatiron?

Wire mesh rollers with the plastic pins pulled taut always get my new growth straight. I find them easier to use than magnetics. When using the plastic roller pins, I find that I can control how taut/straight the roots get. It's the way you position the pin that plays a role but you have to play around with it to find what works best for you; you can make them too taut/tight imo. I'm not sure if my explanation is all that clear, if not, let me know and I'll post some thread links. I learned how to use Mesh rollers from this board.

I've never been able to master those stupid pins! :wallbash: Can you provide some more tips or links as to how they work? I would love to begin using them!

These are some threads with some great rollersetting tips. Some of the threads talk about mesh rollers and how to get the roots tight. But there are also other threads that talks about other techniques that include how to get tight roots (with any type of roller). HTH:)!

WOW Thank you so much!!! Those links were so helpful!!! I think I am gonna explore Mesh Rollers.

Does anyone know of an online beauty supply that has these? One that will ship to an APO address and won't cost an arm and a leg?

I do it on occasion but it takes forever...like 4 hours! It a-aight though.

Coming back to what I posted a little while ago...

I would love to try airdrying again. I'll def. look into the mesh rollersets and try to perfect my game b/c as my hair gets longer, I would like to use less heat, even indirect heat.

I would love to only use heat when I DC and have a completely no heat styling regimen, but I'm gonna have to work on that. I know it's possible though!
