After Dominican Salon visit - Thin Hair

Ok ladies, I usually neva eva go to the salon but my friend needed some serious cheering and and so I went with her (girls primping). I am six week post and we went to this Dominican Salon for a wash and set. I comb my hair once per week when I wash, so they washed combed through the condish (no deep), I felt the hair coming out as she combed, expected that as there were many shedded, but still I wonder if it was more than my usual. They set. Dried and blowout. Now while setting, they used that itty bitty fine comb, but was not too rough and I was watching and not much hair in the comb. They blew out after. So my hair was flowing. I confirmed that I am barely APL again. But my hair felt so thin. This was Saturday and days after my hair still feels thin. And light and does not tangle. I am also noticing less shedding and no real breakage. Does my hair feel thinner because they broke off my hair, or because they got out all the shedded hair more than I usually do? I am gonna henna and deep condition in the next few days to get back my thickness but what do you think? By the way I am relaxed 4z.

I think it felt thin due to the blow out..this is how my hair feels after one..its nice and bouncy BUT it feels thin...I have fine hair and doing blowouts too often aren't for me.

Def. the blowout!
But eventually it could thin the hair out all together. I've seen it happen to some women on line and off line. It's the heat.

Yeah I was going to get blow outs either every week or every other week for about 8 months and my hair is permanently noticeably thinner. Not a good thing if you already have very fine, thin hair. That and my hair smelling burnt was the reason I stopped going

Yep, it's the blowout. I have left the salon before with my head feeling like there was no hair at all on it, because it was so light and feathery. Yeah, too much of that good thing is no good IMO.

i always experience this with dominican blowouts thats why i dont do them any more your hair is bouncy but very thin it made my hair prone to damage
