Yes, Miss Rizos is a good friend of mine here in DR. She also opened up a natural hair salon in Zona Colonial which I think is the first in the country!

I like everyone on the list but I wish there were more that wrote in Spanish. Caro is the only one I know so far. I have a coworker that I am encouraging to start a blog and be entrepreneurial and I have trouble finding examples for her.

Thanks for the list. I currently follow Miss Rizos and Afro Mio, but always looking for more. :spinning:

OP, I was about to mention you in this thread and realized you created it. LOL!

cutiebe2 I responded to your post, but the app logged me out. Please tell Miss Rizos that I love what she's doing in DR. I tried to go see her at Q's salon in Boston, but the weather was terrible that day and I couldn't make it. She's an inspiration to many women that otherwise would never have the "courage" to go natural.

I think you should start a blog too!! I'll be the first to sign up!

I will for sure! Was that this fall? I remember she went back to the US in Nov. If you are ever in SDQ pleas visit her salon.

I have a blog that I am trying to work on about living here, travel and such. Like I said I'm trying to get my coworker to do one because I feel that there arent enough blogs in Spanish especially by Afro-Latinos.
