Advice for self relaxing??

I have waited long enough to stretch out my perms (14 weeks)

. But now that I have achieved this i am really scared to let someone apply the chemical to my hair. I refuse to have someone overprocess it. Are there any self-relaxers out there with any helpful tips. It would be greatly appreciated. Also if u know any good lye relaxers I am open for suggestions. TIA
