A week's worth of hair!

Erm... bear with me guys.

I feel crazy for asking...

but yeah, I tend to harvest all the hair from my brush and comb from detangling time.

So... this is a weeks worth. I detangle twice a week with a comb followed by the denman.

My hair is about 5 inches all around stretched.

Would you say this is a normal amount of shedding? Most hairs do have the bulb in them.

But I do want to say that your hair is beautiful, I thought your texturized hair was pretty but it can't hold a candle to your natural hair.

I think I have some form of hair anorexia Shedorexia! I guess I do know it's not a lot, but the irrational thoughts still pop up in my mind. Am I crazy? lol

I feel you on the irrational thoughts, so don't worry! I did my hair today and flipped out at the amount of hair I lost, which was, objectively, nothing at all, but more than I'm used to. It's one thing to know in our minds that we lose 50-100 hair EVERY DAY, it's another thing entirely to actually see that much hair, or even half that much hair, multiplied by however many days it's been since the last time we did our hair. So now, what you shed was nothing at all, but it's okay that it still feels that way. It takes some getting used to . You have some absolutely gorgeous hair though!!!

I understand Neith. I find myself gathering up my shed hair and comparing it to the week before usually because I empty the trash once a week. Sometimes I think I'm tripping to see so much hair then I remember its for a whole week and I'm on the heavier spectrum of shedding. And as long as I still have hair on my head when I finish, I'm cool.

You're not the only one to collect shed hair - I also collect the stray hairs off my nekkid body after detangling I wanna make sure I'm not losing too much!

You gotta know when to panic about the hair!!!
