if i want my coils well defined i use the curlisto method. there are videos on youtube. all i really use is ic fantasia gel. i do the technique on damp hair, so when my hair gets too dry i will usually apply some rosewater and glycerine mix to it to re-wet it but water can be used too. my hair is still well defined when it dries. there are pics in my current album (month 17).

Tocktick: I am so in love with your hair! it is simply beautiful!

i just use a cheapie conditioner as a leave in, smooth on some glycerin, and shake my head after washing. the shaking defines and separates my curls, and eliminates frizz.

I don't have to use anything to make my hair curly, but I do use a Denman Brush and conditioner to keep the the frizz out of my life
I'm not relaxer free yet (still transitioning), but I have one section (in the very back corner of my head) that I cut ALL the relaxed hair from. When I use my my Denman brush and conditioner, it stays frizz free and nice and curly / wavy.

I'll be glad when my new growth is long enough to cut all the relaxed hair off. Sigh... Right now, I only have 4.5 - 5 inches of new growth, and I NEED to be able to make a ponytail before I even think about letting go of the remainder of my relaxed hair.

Lots of water and conditioner.

This is what I use also. The denman turns my hair into a poof ball. I will only use the D3 if I want to make my hair straight. I use the d41 every 2 weeks to detangle my hair fully but I hate the way it makes my hair look when I'm done. Maybe something is wrong with my hair since so many other people love it :perplexed

Miss Jessies baby butter creme...but its so expensive!:look:

They say you should use the curly meringe to style and then the baby butter creme to add sheen...you will need to use the who tub lol :lachen::lachen:
i loooove this stuff...but i am out from using it on twists so much. i need more...just cant bring myself to buy it full price :lachen:

i want to try the curly meringue but have the same issue.

i am cosigning with ALLLL the people that say conditioner...cant stress this enough. i looked like a fuzzball till the day i loaded conditioner in my hair, squeezed out the extra water, and plopped my hair with a t-shirt. no extra products needed.

NOODLEHEAD! i use the curl cream for SUPER definition otherwise i'm gonna have to agree on the condish! i just leave it in
I have the noodle head curling creme and the curl boosting spray. It definitely makes my curls / waves pop like crazy. It will really be awesome when I don't have any more relaxed hair.

Hairlove told me about this product a while back. She told me about about the super sexy styling sauce (which is also a great product).

Each of these products are by Beyond the Zone and can be found at Sally BSS.
