Hey ladies, I would like to know what products you use to get you hair curly and if it still looks good/no puffy/frizzy when it dries?

Thanks!

Miss Jessies baby butter creme...but its so expensive!:look:

They say you should use the curly meringe to style and then the baby butter creme to add sheen...you will need to use the who tub lol :lachen::lachen:

I don't have to use anything to make my hair curly, but I do use a Denman Brush and conditioner to keep the the frizz out of my life

S-Curl activator no-drip spray. My hair never feels dry with it. It stays moist w/o being sticky and the curls pop. Never frizzy. Unfortunately when I did this, my cam sucked the pic below doesn't do the hair justice. It really stayed soft, shiny...and was that way all day till I baggied at night and then more of the same the next day w/o the need to reapply the S-Curl.

Well, it's already curly, but to keep down frizz I can use Fantasia IC gel, regular conditioner or a leave in, or KCCC. I'm still experimenting with what works best.

nothing makes my hair curly it just is and co signing on conditioner if i dont want it to b frizzy

I use a leave in then I style it with sebastian texturize or sebastian wet(liquid gels) to knock the frizz out.

Hey...I haven't seen you on here in awhile. I bun, but when I tried Talia Waajids Black Earth Protective Bodifying Mist it gave me great curls and curl definition (and I wasn't even looking for that) and the curls were moist, shiny and defined the next day. I filed that in the back of my mind for when I am ready to wear my hair out in a curly ponytail. I got the same results with Royal Roots Moisture Glaze, which is pretty much the same product. I found the RRMG in Angie's BS and the Black Earth in Whole Foods.

Ok, I co-wash every morning (just cut my hair, so it is very easy to maintain with daily washing), and I do not detangle every day. I find that the more I wash and rinse without detangling, the more defined my hair is. My hair is just spiral coils that are stretching out as my hair gets longer. I also rinse my conditioner out with cold water, which helps to define the curl/coil. I put in regular conditioner and fantasia ic or eco styler gel. As my hair dries it is still curly/coily throughout the day.

ditto...i am now mixing this with aloe vera gel.

With me its co-washing with Suave, then I detangle with a Denman brush, followed up with Eco Styler gel. My hair comes out bouncy and defined curls.

If you don't want crunch curls, then I would highly suggest buying Aloe Vera gel. I do the same as above, except instead of Eco Styler I just add the Aloe Vera gel and maybe a little bit of Fantasia IC gel. My hair comes out VERY soft and the curls are defined as well.

So purty Nonie!

my hair doesnt get curly/coily unless i put some gel in it.otherwise its just a big ball of fluff. my favorites right now are xtreme gel and yellow ecostyler. xtreme has a more firm hold and smells awesome but it needs a leave in conditioner. yellow eco has a softer but still firm hold and you can just slap it on by itself. it smells a bit odd though but its easy to find.

My hair is just curly as well but I use Long Aid to keep it from frizzing since it's hard to get the vultures from touching my hair lol

u know what my hair is so funny because whenever im getting ready to wash my hair and just slap on some conditioner to do a conditioner wash my hair wants then to curl up.

I like Garnier Fructis products i have so many of them its crazy...

I tried the baby buttercream with a twist out yesterday and the smell was just overpowering or maybe it was just that i had a headache. I thought about trying mango butter. --sorry for my twist outs...

if i want my coils well defined i use the curlisto method. there are videos on youtube. all i really use is ic fantasia gel. i do the technique on damp hair, so when my hair gets too dry i will usually apply some rosewater and glycerine mix to it to re-wet it but water can be used too. my hair is still well defined when it dries. there are pics in my current album (month 17).

No matter what I use I'm always gonna have FRIZZ! But, to answer your question; I heard great reviews on Fantasia IC Gel...
