Has anyone ever had there hair done at one of these places? How was it? What did you get done? Please tell about your experience.

They have various locations in 5 states and are endorsed by several celebs.

The Weave Shop

My sister had an install done, it was fine, but she bought expensive hair, and told the girl she didn't want her wefts cut and they were cut anyway.

Like anything, I think they can be hit or miss. I think some of the cheaper places have a tendency to attract less talented people but every so often you will find a gem. You may need to find someone who had their done there and see if they can recommend one of the better stylists. I also think that sometimes when it is that cheap, people tend to rush in order to make up the bottom line, and in my book, rushing and good haircare seldom go together. If you decide to use them, please post about your experience.

I just took out my friends weave that she had done at one of the Georgia locations. It was beautful and very well done. She stated that it really does depend on the stylist and said your end results can be very hit or miss.

I went to their branch in Decatur, Georgia... I did a review on my blog last year...

The experience was "something else" ...my hair was OK (a bit lumpy but it was my very first install so I didn't care until I knew better after I got my second, much better install), but one of the wefts came loose and I had to go back to get it fixed.

When I went they DID NOT cut the wefts which I was very appreciative of.

I haven't been back since.

Ok upon further observation of the site...lol. No really, I think they make the celebs hair on point but it could be hit and miss cause a lot of them weaves are borderline busted. And I see lots of cheap hair which may be contributing to said busted weave. But the people doing the weaves and posing in pics don't have no top quality undetectable weave from what I have already browse through and see.

OT-Doesn't the owner look like New York's mom from Flava of Love. Well not all the way but remind you. It even looks like her hair would move around like NY's mom too.

The shop is nice. I seen a person with MBL possibly HL might have been a man as his back was turned so I couldn't really tell. I seen a KBB shirt. And this black woman is opening up a chain of salons and supplying jobs to cosmetologists, I just hope people don't start damaging hair, rushing and make a bad name for the company. This is actually a really good hustle. Draw them in with cheap weaves but also offer other services such as relaxers, makeup, and all that fake stuff you put on your face.

A friend used them, at least twice now. She likes them. She is natural and used straight weave. I saw her second install, about 2 months old, and it looked okay. It was a full weave with no closure so it did look a bit wiggy.

These girls in South Florida wear the most horrible weaves and lacefronts. They are usually big, black, shiny and stiff and sit about 4 inches off their forehead. They would eat something like this up. I wish I could start one here. The line would be out the door and I'd be doing a service to the community.
