4a/4bs and maybe 3c's how do u think of your hair?

I`am confused about my hair.
Now that I`am stretching and pay attention to my hair for the first time ever I realize that I have at least 3 different types.
I have mostly 3c and 4a on the crown mixed with 4b and mostly 4b on the sides of my head,now thats confusing to me.
I would say that most of my hair is tightly coiled or just wavy without curldefinition or bigger curls

Definitely curly. I told a co-worker that all black people have curly hair just some tighter than others...she hit me with "Yo hair curly...mine is nappy".

But days like today when I'm scared to take a comb to my head yeah I agree with her

I agree with this, I always say all black people have curly hair just range from loose curls to tight curls. I think I have coils, and some waves, and something else not sure. I am still trying to figure out my hair.

i'm 3c...my natural is frizzy and wavy..neither "nappy" or curly. it has lots of curl at the nape and a part in the back.

I think of my hair as kinky and coily. Like Country gal I came to the realization that my hair was not curly, when I texturized it, it looked curly for a minute though. I've always been an optimistic, half-full kinda person regarding most aspects of my life but when I first started this natural journey I could see so many of the limits of my natural hair. Now, praise the Lord, I am seeing the possibilities. LOL kinky and coily equal big, dense and lush. No floppy fros here! I finally realize that I love my height, my eye color, my shape, I accept them as gifts from God, my thang, that's how I feel about my hair now, kinky, coily, some places more tightly coiled than others and it's my special gift.

I'd say nappy (LOL), but my hair dressers have said tight curl when I tell them my hair is coarse and nappy (they say it's soft, but just tight). So, that means extremely tightly coiled, and probably kinky. I have no shame in having nappy hair.
