Hello ladies with type 4 hair! Do you have any pics of curly fro hairstyles? For example, a braid out rolled at the ends.

I need tips and ideas thanks!!!

I don't have any pictures. While you are waiting for responses, check out the Everyday Hair Sticky. Yt is the best place for hairstyles. ytbers like Charjay, Naptural85 and others are great for styles.

braid n curl done on my 4a/b relaxed hair. it's pretty much my signature style.

about 12 braids with rollers on the end air dried overnight. i prefer them after a few days when the curls fall and expand a bit.

You have beautiful hair!! And your very pretty too:)

Here is my braid out. I'm texlax. I used S-Curl moisturizer and QP elasta foaming lotion. I make four sections and braid about 6-7 braids in each section.

Hope this helps!!

Here's another one. My texture is 3c/4a. Let us know how your braid-out turns out.

This is not the best bantu knots I ever done, but thought I'd post it anyway.

I do little bantu knots all over my head (two strand twist version) and take them out separate a few of them.

@kcmatthew how did you achieve that? Was it done on wet hair, what products used....I need details lol:)

Of course. I'm natural. I washed my hair and let it airdry with large twists. I then flat ironed each section but it looked more like a blow out. I then made about 10 braids in the directions I wanted my hair to fall and set them with flexirods for overnight. Next day I undid the braids and fluffed.

It looked tamer when it was first done but after being out on a very hot and humid day it grew some.

I love all your hair styles. How did you do all these styles if you dont mine me asking. You can PM me if you like. TIA

They are regular twist outs. For me, I learned the key to a good, well defined twist out with super curly ends, is to have either a fresh trim or damage free ends.

My staple moisturizer for my twist outs is the Worlds of Curls curl activator gel. Sometimes I add either kinky curly curling custard or aloe vera gel to give extra hold.
