My brother has a group that meets in Dallas. He started out with the website meetup.com. There is the apparatus to start such a group. My brother actually makes a little change on his group as people are willing to pay to come there and make business connections.

I used to belong to a book club and knitting group (the downside is I gained like 10 lbs over the year), but it was a lot of fun and I can't get enough of "hair talk".

I'm located in San Jose Ca (Bay Area), I wish I lived closer to LA. I would be wiling to travel up to San Francisco. It just depends on where the majority is located. I was originally looking to join a bookclub, but thought hair would be more exciting lol. If we find that we're putting on a few extra pounds we could turn it into a weight loss club
