3c, 4a, or 4b- Collarbone length- APL unstretched, how long is it stretched?

it depends on your level of shrinkage...this question can't really be answered. Even people of the same hairtype may have different shrinkage rates.

 Are you asking if your hair is CBL unstreched, what's the length of your hair when you flat iron it?

I'm not natural so I'm really not sure why I can in this thread but I read the title to mean:

[If you are] 3c, 4a, or 4b [and] collarbone length [to] APL unstretched, how long is [your hair when] stretched? IDK. :spinning: Hopefully this helps

Yes, she's asking if your hair is around CBL to APL unstretched, when you stretch it or straighten it, where does it fall.

I don't think she's asking for a rule on where hair should fall stretched when it's a certain length shrunken. I think she's just curious to see what people's shrinkage is like.

It's like saying, if your hair is APL stretched, please post your shrinkage--and there was a thread asking folks to post shrinkage just for the heck of it. It was fun to see. OP is interested in seeing the opposite I guess. Seems like just a curiosity question not so much a question of what she ought to expect for herself.

Correct me if I'm wrong OP.

I know I have often seen people with say SL hair then they straighten it and it just seems like it changed in length by only a bit, then you have others whose hair looks short but when they straighten it, it's like WOAH. So this can be a fun thread.

I'm shoulder or collarbone curly, and hopefully soon I will discover I'm MBL straight.

Side note: I'm not a hairtyping fan, but if it would be helpful, i'd say I'm 4A.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I'm close to collarbone length stretched so this doesn't apply to me, but as another poster stated, I think it differs for everyone. It depends on the amount of shrinkage you get...not all 3c, 4a, 4bs get the same type of shrinkage, so it will vary tremendously. I've heard of some ladies on the board having SL unstretched, but WL stretched!

I feel like If I make it to WL or beyond the longest my hair will be in its curly state is between SL and APL:ohwell:

NL curlt, between BSL and MBL stretched. I probably won't be CL unstretched until my hair gets to WL.

This is an interesting thread, thank you to all who replied. I know everyone has different shrinkage rates, but MBL seems to be "average."
