3 Years Natural (progress update + pitchas!)

Auburn

My anniversary was on 5/26/11. I'm late! I know
The first 3 pictures are from today. The shirtless picture is so you can see where my waist is.
The braid out was on 5/26/11.
I made a blog about this but I did the blunt cut on 10/15/10.
I guess I'm around BSL but if I had kept the length, I probably would have been WL.

I will do a more elaborate update on 11/19/11 because that will be 4 years without a relaxer. I plan to be at my original goal of thick MBL. I'll probably dye my hair jet black or blue black then as well.

I think my goal has changed to WL or elbow length. Who knows...

I remember your short hair pictures from not too long ago. Your hair is on the move, it's grown so quickly! Great job on retaining your length and keeping your hair healthy & beautiful!!

Gorgeous! I joined around the same time. I was relaxed back then but enjoyed watching your journey from start to finish.

Are you still using heat more often than not?

LADIES, THANK YOU. ALL OF YOU! :heart3:

Thank you darling. I appreciate you following along with me.

Yes. I think I'm going to stick with being a straight natural for now on until I want a style that has a lot more volume.

I love that braid-out! How many braids did you do?

I did about 8 on each side I think.

Whoo hoo! Another 3 year vet!! Your hair looks faboosh, honey!

If only my hair were that thick....I'd wear it out/straight wayyyy more often. When I first began transitioning, I actually wanted to be a straight haired natural, but my mop had other plans.

AuBurn, your is hair is simply gorgeous. I also want to do a blunt cut next year since I love thick look of your hair.
