beautiful hair and progress! im thinking about being a straight/semi-straight natural for 4-6 months out of the year, because these SSKs are killing me.

Marvelous hair, i have always admired it even when I was still lurking pre-join date;)
Keep up the good work, I wanna be like you when I grow up!

Beautiful! I'm transitioning, so posts like this give me hope. How far into your natural journey did you start using heat? I'm almost 5 months post relaxer and I think I've used a flat iron one time. Other than that, I don't use any heat because....I'm scared.

FAB hair and progress! I love the enlongation you have with your braid outs. Did you do it on wet or dry hair? TIA
I do it on wet hair and let all of them air dry completely before taking them apart

I used heat pretty much the whole time once or twice a month. I was sooo pressed (no pun intended) for growth that I did a length check about every month in the beginning. Don't be scared! Get a very good flatiron, low manipulation technique, and Sabino moisture block or lok and block and you're good to go!

I've read all comments and I once again want to thank each and every one of you... at once
I appreciate the feedback. It keeps me going and growing!
