Aww...thanks so much ladies! :)

Wow, your hair is gorgeous and you are simply lovely to boot :yep:!

I tend to also agree that you may need more heat to flatiron. I tried for the longest time to flatiron at 350, then 375, then 395. All caused reversion, with the lower two temps the back of my hair would start to revert before I'd finished the top half! Then I said "screw it" and went to 425. SO much better :yep:. 1-2 passes, and I'm done.

I also rollerset, so I do a heavy DC under my steamer, use Lacio Lacio as my LI, two pumps of PM Super Skinny mixed with an oil blend, rollerset with just water and a hint of SAA, then flatiron. I'll often rollerset on one night and flatiron the next day, because I just can't spend that much time on my hair in one shot :lachen:. I flat iron with just a heat protecting spray and my hair comes out pretty good. HTH!

Lol thanks Ronnieaji! I'm really thinking I need to go to about 400 next time with maybe 2 passes. Do you get SSKs and if so, do you find that it affects you being able to get your ends straight?

Your natural texture is really pretty!!! Beautiful eyes too......
I agree you may need a higher temp when flat ironing.

Aww thanks MsChelle!

I would love to be SL when I BC! I love your hair. I need to really be more diligent with my hair care. Thanks for the inspiration. I am now more motivated!!!

Thanks destine2grow! Glad I could help inspire you as so many women on this board have done the same for me!

WOW, I am in love with the idea of achieving shoulder length natural hair. I am unable to get the silky strait look as well, but I love how healthy it is. Your pics just inspired me to keep working on it.:yep:

Thanks DD!!
