2020 Use Up Your Stash Challenge

Threw the Kerastaste Therapiste in the trash. It has mineral oil high up the list. I'm trying to eliminate items with oils, butters and silicones high up the list.

I cleansed, conditioned and styled again today. I used the Kinky Curly Knot Today leave-in and then followed with Carols Daughter Foam. I have 1 use left of the Knot Today and maybe 1 or 2 uses of the Foam.

I just straightened 5 day old hair and it looks and feels amazing Z still smells like peppermint oil too

Each time I go through my stash I get rid of a little more. When the board was thriving I would have created a give away box. Now it just doesn't seem worth the trouble.

I threw out 2 of the Proclaim Masks which were sample sizes. And I threw out the Sauce mask. I'm going to throw out the My Honey Child Type 4 hair cream later. I'm doing too much to make it work. While I'm in that container I will see what else I will toss. I have 3 or 4 edge controls which I don't need. I rarely lay my edges.

I'm slowly whittling things down.

I ran out of TGIN leave-in and Sally's was having a sale so I purchased a few things. I bough the TGIN shampoo and leave-in which will be staples. I also bought a Jane Carter foam and some clips.

I've been cleansing every 3 days and this weekend every day. I'm trying to use up this Redken Cleansing conditioner. Once I get my leave-in, I will get back to using up the Silk Elements foam and the Carol's Daughter foam. That's about all I will be using up any time soon.

What do you use foam for? I have a couple that I sometimes use for my daughter's buns instead of gel but they are going so slowly.

It's my regular styler now. I put on a leave-in, put on the foam and put my hair up in flat twist. Or I do the same when I bun. If you were doing a wng, apply it over the gel. If you are doing some type of set style: rollers, perm rods, etc, it would be used there.
