Bought UFD Curly Magic. Current bottle is almost gone and for whatever reason it's double in price for the same size online. Got a bottle in store for the normal price. It's a staple and definitely wanted to grab some in case that new ridiculous price becomes permanent.

Didn't make my goal to get my stash less than 40 but I'm only one over so I'm okay with this. Plus I historically go through product slower in the colder months. I think if I could get to less than 35 products by the end of session 2, I'll be set to cut the number of products in my stash to half by the end of the year.

I was looking through some older posts in previous shrink my stash challenges and the lowest I ever got was 23 products. I was missing some items and had to shop more often but I wasn't nearly as overwhelmed with my collection as I am now. Which is insane because the height of my PJism, I had 125 conditioners alone. So to be in the 40s for total number of products with goals to get to 20s (or possibly teens) I think is showing some growth.

I had to use all my self control yesterday. I always browse the hair aisle at Target, can’t help it. But yesterday I actually took out my glasses and started reading packages and had two from my (totally unnecessary) wishlist in my hand to buy. I reminded myself of a future purchase when Sephora has their sale. I also reminded myself of how and why I got into this challenge in the first place and put them back. That said, I’m excited about exploring Alikay Naturals at some point in the future.

The product is very watery and it doesn’t have enough hold for me. I like to get at least 5 days out of my wash n go but with this product I can barely get 2. Camille Rose curl maker is much better.
