2016 Use Up The Stash Challenge

I have a couple more uses of my CC's natural scalp scrub, so I purchased a couple of jars. I also purchased Jakeala's Aloe Vera Spritz as an alternate to my DIY Aloe Vera Spritz.

Finished bottle of WGHO and bottle of Naturelle Grow Moisture Boost spritzer.
Also finished my samples of Komaza Protein coniditoner, Claudie's Normalizing conditioner and Shea Moisture Raw Shea Reconstructor conditoner.

Used up my Botancials Olive Oil Spray, which left me with no oils. So I took one from "waiting until I can use" stash. It's Shescentit's Honey and Castor Softening balm. Just went into protective styling mode with a kinky curly sew in so I'm excited to see how may products I can complete.

I'm probably the only person that never did an inventory list lol. I started but didn't finish. Basically just eyeballing my stuff.

Used up

Oyin Frank Juice

Eco Styler clear gel

Silk Dreams DC

APB leave in

Organix Shampoo

I will repurchase the gel after I use up my tub of Wetline gel and I would repurchase the shampoo at some point when I'm in need of a no sulfate shampoo but I won't need one anytime soon.

I'm close on a couple of products and in light of that, I've bought a few items :look::

KBB Sweet Ambrosia leave in (getting low on this)
KBB Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream (my Oyin Whipped Pudding is getting low so I'm trying this next)
2KBB Hair Blossom Moisture Mist (wasn't particularly low but I can't find this in store so when I order KBB I restock this)
KBB Beauty Boss Hair Pomade (was on clearance in the store so I'm trying it)

I also bought a scalp massager from Vanity Planet. I'm going to incorporate regular scalp massages.

That scalp massager is bomb. My hands haven't touched my scalp for a shampoo since I bought it.

Which one did you get? I realized there are two after I ordered. One has softer, more flexible "teeth" and I got the one that is more rigid. I think I wanted the softer one. :ohwell:

Used up ApHogee 2 Step. Will repurchase in the future when it's needed again.
I also gave DH the Cover That Gray hair color thingie. :look:

I'm still in this thing! I have a whole host of products now! And still a lot of the styling products at my parents house.

I have plenty to add to my list... Nice thing is, THEY WERE FREE!

I have a friend who works for Design Essentials and since I have an IG following he told me to try some stuffriends and gave me some stuff from the natural line. Some of it has cones and mineral oil, but the shampoo so far so a stand out! Like it actually detangled my hair!

I'm waiting to see how my hair feels about the others, but so far so good.

Used up SM Gel Soufflé, APB Creamy Hair Pudding, APB Pomade, & APB White Chocolate DC

Decided I would allow myself to indulge in BF sales if I can finish off the rest of the 22 products for this year or I seem close to it. Just a little incentive for me to get through these products.

I slipped a little because of a sale. I bought an Uncle Funky's Daughter sample pack, and a Supercream. However, I have been in this challenge for 4 years, and I'm finally at a point where there is nothing that I feel like I have to get rid of. I am going to stay in because this helps me stay in control of my stash, but I'm feeling pretty good.
I want to be like this. :yep: I'm going to get there too.

Ok @trclemons, HOW in the world do you finish up so many products??? And HOW do you even have anything left? It seems to take me AGES to finish up something and I'm using the stuff along with DD (and DH and DS to an extent). I feel like I'm using stuff on a regular basis but I can't get through them nearly as quickly as you.

 When I was preparing for this challenge, I noticed I had a lot of bottles/jars with less than 3/4 a bottle of product left in it. So, I organized my products and use them starting with the bottle/jars with the least amount of product in it to the ones with the greatest amount of product in it.

For some of the products, I only had about 2 or 3 uses left. But in my PJ phase, I would move on to the next hottest products, which caused me to push these products to the back of the line instead of finishing them off first. Some of the products on my list were bought when I started my HHJ in 2012.

I also CW my hair twice a week and do the LCOB method every day, so that helps use up a lot of products too. But even with all of the original 47 products on my list (plus the 66 products I've added to the list), I have so many products left that it will probably take me about 2 more years to get to a decent product stash.

Thank you. Makes a lot of sense. :yep: I still feel like I should be going through stuff quicker.
