Anyone have a dc similar to Joico moisture recovery balm? That ish is too much for my wallet but my hair loves it.

DC day tomorrow, can't wait. I don't know yet what I'll be using though so I will be back to update.

ooh, I can't even help you with this because I use Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat and I think it cost either the same or more for the same amount of product. I like them both but I can more easily find Redken on the ground here in the Bahamas. Hopefully someone else will chime in for you soon.

How was this for you? What was the final verdict? @Saludable84 has me eyeing this as a treat...smh

That's my favorite conditioner. It will always be an HG product. I call it my captain save a head because it's always there to save my from dry hair disasters. I usually just leave it on for a few hours (I'm too lazy to go any other route) but even with steam a few times it was amazing.

I have one in the shower and two for back up. Will probably re-up soon. I would use them more often but they come in squeeze bottles. The only one I didn't like was the cocoa one, but all the rest... Phenomenal.

Ooooooh weeee! Instant HG status. I will definitely be getting more and keeping this conditioner in my stash @AbsyBlvd .

Thank you for your replies @NaturallyATLPCH and @Saludable84 . I'm sold:spinning:.

I plan to prepoo my scalp with Alter Ego, cowash with Curl Ideal Cleansing conditioner and dc with Kerastase Densite.

eta I did the prepoo for 30 minutes and rinsed it out. Then I applied the curl ideal (4 pumps) to my scalp only and massaged it in. It lathered slightly, but not a sudsy lather. It was more like a slippy smooth lather. I put Therapiste Soin Premier on my ends since they need strength. My hair smells goodt!

Havn't posted in here for a while but been DC'ng weekly with a variety of DCs...still trying to find my staple/what works best for my hair...

Okay I was in the pool yesterday so I had to wash my hair. I deep conditioned with Hair mayonnaise for a few hours, without a heating wrap! Then damage erasing balm. My hair is okay. I definitely need the heating wrap. It really does make a difference.

I've been using my staple again: Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisturizing Treatment. On Thursday, I did a henna treatment for 4 hours and then DC'ed with Silk Elements overnight. Great results as usual.

Today I exfoliated my scalp with Nioxin Scalp Renew

Shampooed with Redken Time Rest Shampoo (this shampoo has exfoliating properties in it) I felt a really good tingle on my scalp with these first two products.

I used semi permanent color in black for gray hair for the first time. I will see how well this works.

I will be oil rinsing with a coconut oil/aloe vera juice combo.

Deep conditioning with Hea Moisture Anti Breakage Strengthening Masque followed with Kerastase Chroma Riche Masque for moisture.

Leave in - Aunt Jackie's Quench

Moisturizing with CRN Aloe Whipped Butter gel and sealin with some natural butter/oil combo.
