Steamer.jpg I'm currently sitting under the steamer. I DC'ed with Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque and added Grapeseed oil. I cannot say that I'm sold on this masque, but I will use it up before I buy a different one. I plan on blow drying using my comb attachment (that I thought I had lost) and then rollersetting. It's going to be a long night...

Under Dryer: Cathy Howse UBH (2o minutes)

Under Steamer: Jakeala's Sweet Honey Hair Thang mixed with Jasmine's Avocado & Silk DC'er in Hello Sugar (60 minutes)

I'm doing my dc right now. The Densite mask is a gel like consistency that's easy to distribute. My hair feels soft and hydrated and it smells sooo good (like a light perfume). Once I rinse I'll know for sure if it's a keeper. I just found a site to get Kerastase products for cheap (lookfantastic.com) so I'm going to expand my collection.

I like the Densite mask. My hair was soft and easy to detangle, but I should have washed it more than once. My hair seemed greasy during my blow dry even though I didn't add any additional products.

Pre-Rx:
Honey Handmades Pink Sugared Hibiscus on dry hair
Protein Rx:
Methi-Set Step 1
Steaming:
Jakeala's Sweet Honey Hair Thang mixed with AV's Red Raspberry DC'er

I checked the site out and realized that the prices here at home are still much better for me. I'll probably use it for products I can't find at home.

Pre-poo'd overnight with my AVJ spritz & Duafe Whipped Amla and DC'd for a little over an hour with a mix of ORS & Kapur/Kachri ayurvedic powder.

I think that I am going to do an overnight DC and then sit under the steamer tomorrow evening. I am trying to use up the Shea Moisture Deep Conditioner Masque...It's definitely not hurting my hair, but I don't know if I've found my "Holy Grail" either...

I want to join!
Saturday:
-Overnight deep condition with Jamila Henna mixed with a little bit of amla powder, honey and water.
-Immediately after I rinsed the henna treatment out, I followed by Silk Elements Megasilk Moisturizing treatment mixed with honey and sealed with castor oil. I left this on my hair for about 6 hours. My hair seemed to feel stronger and had more "swang" even without product on it after these two treatments.

So far I've done deep conditioning with these exact recipes and in the same order weekly for the past three weeks. But, I'm going to reduce my henna treatments to every two weeks instead of every week. Even though my hair seems to be responding very well to henna, I don't want to overdo it lol.
