I'll try to be more active in this thread during 2016. :(

I have just started incorporating warm green tea on wash day. Before I apply my leave-in and gel, I brew or reheat tea then spray it my hair and scalp (feels sooooo good). Aside from strengthening hair it's supposed to stimulate growth, so I will try to work it into my monthly IM sessions.

I've kept up w/my bentonite clay use. I like Teressentials but because clay can be drying and it's Winter, I've been making a calcium bentonite clay w/coconut water mix since the calcium version is so much more conditioning.

Will do a better job of posting more regularly. Have been drinking more tea than rinsing with it as I'm cowashing 2-3x a week and have a hard time fitting it in. :look:

Will continue to:
Drink teas
Henna/cassia

Will try:
Incorp tea rinses back into regimen
Give AVJ a whirl

I am in!
Last night I steeped some fresh Sage and sprayed my hair all over before adding my leave-ins.Today my hair feels great.Soft and strong. Will DC with Black Tea on Wednesday. Will be researching before I go out on a rampage, buying up every herb/tea on planet earth.
Also interested in trying Ayurvedic powders.

I will be spritzing with Claudie's Hair Tea Spritz 1-2 times daily.
I will be cowashing and/or dc with Honeys Handmade Knot in My Fro Joe.
I also have some AVJ. I haven't decided how I will use that yet. Once I'm out of Claudie's Hair Tea Spritz I will make my own with AVJ as ingredient but that will be a long time from now.
I will be using bentonite clay quarterly.

@tallowah did you find a sage smell in your hair after it dried?

:hammer:
**CORRECTION...my DIY mix is with sodium bentonite clay not calcium. Never had an issue with calcium but my hair feels not just clean but very conditioned with sodium clay.

Hi @IDareT'sHair, I'd love to join!

I made a strong pot of black tea and keep the leftover in the fridge for other uses.

Lately I've parting my hair like we do when we're oiling or perming it, spritzing my scalp with the tea, then spritzing with evoo.

After I've finished my whole head with the tea and evoo, I put a good conditioner on the rest of my hair, which is like applying to dry hair, since only my scalp has the tea and oil on it.

Then I wrap it all in plastic and a scarf for an overnight treatment.

My scalp always tingles for a good long time and when I rinse it all out in the morning, my hair feels great, so it's a keeper!

I'll also be using the ayurvedic powders for masks and overnight treatments:-)
