2015 - Full STEAM Ahead

Hi Ladies,

Keep up with your steaming and please share your results. What benefits have you noticed?

I have been steaming or over 2 years and I have noticed increased moisture and a luscious natural sheen to my hair. I don't need to steam as much anymore and have now cut back to once per month but I will go back to weekly steaming gin the winter.

Have you noticed any changes to your hair as a result of steaming?

Thanks,
Roz

I noticed that it made any conditioner, no matter how crappy, work better. If I just sat the conditioner on and/or sat under a dryer the weren't as "effective" as doing it with a steamer. For instance, when I use moisturizing conditioners, my hair comes out softer and stays moisturized longer than if I let it just sit there. Usually I steam for 20 minutes, cover with a cap and leave on until I feel like washing it out. I really didn't know what I was missing until I got my steamer early last year.

My hair is silkier and smoother with steaming. It seems to help penetrate moisture into my hair strands. I can tell a huge difference
