I texlaxed today and got my hair blow dried.

How many inches til MBL do you think sorry the picture quality is not that great

I think you are midback already - more than a strand but not full MBL. You will def by full MBL or longer by the end of the year

honestly, for me i believe MBL = full BSL even though most people view MBL 2-3 inches below your bra strap.

MBL is the most subjective growth length, imo. i'm just gonna take a tape measure and measure from the base of my neck to the bottom of my back and the mid-way point is MBL for me...i guess that's the only real way for anyone to know - measure *shrugs*

Due to breakage and thinning, I had to cut back to APL again. I was thisclose to MBL

Well, I relaxed yesterday and I'm almost BSB/L!

So hopefully, I'll be lucky enough to reach MBL by the end of the year :crossfingers:

well i reached MBL and then cut back to BSL to get rid of ends and to maintain some thickness.. at least I have 7 more months to work with

As for me, I am approaching BSL- about less than half is touch BSL/BSB. I look forward to claiming BSL in July for my 2 year hair anniversary. Hopefully I can make MBL by Dec. 31, 2009

Great, thanks for answering my question. I agree MBL is a very subjective length that's why I am kinda confused about it. I may need to try your technique to set my MBL bar once for all. Thanks again

You know I never thought about it like this. Apparently I don't have a long back - then again I don't know what's normal. My back is about 20 inches long & the 1/2 way mark lands well before the end of the bra I have on.

I'm just a little past APL because I am still cutting the heat damaged hair from my salon visit in November. The front of my hair was stick straight & thin (she use a hot hot hot comb) and the back has some straight ends too. It's slowly but surely getting back to normal and I have about 3 inches of new growth.

I should be BSL in the back by the end of June and I'm pushing for MBL by December.

I'm trying not to get discouraged, but it's a little depressing to get this far and have a major setback like this.

I'm back a BSL!

I'm fully expecting to hit full BSL/(g)MBL by June and be full MBL in September!

:update: I don't think that my hair will hit full bsl/(g)MBL by the end of June...so being realistic about my growth I want to hit full BSL unassisted by my September update. I'll still do a length check in June.

I'm striving to grow to MBL by the end of the year :crossfingers:
