50$ Miss Jessie purchases would confound another section of the U.S. population. And then, when you think globally, the 7 bucks we might spend on, let's say, hair grease, would seem berzerk when a fistful of free lard is available. LOL!!
His prices are right in line with what "they" (the rich) pay. I always thought Dr. Hauschka's prices were high. Bruh is taking it to the next level.![]()

Seriously, for $200.00, Ted would need to do more than just my hair.
What she saidBrownSkin2 said:Ted knows that the average women don't have that kind of money to spend on a stylist or his products. He's targeting a specific demographic... That would be celebrities and the wealthy... The ones that have that kind of money to drop on him and his stuff.
I don't blame him. He's doing his thang in a big way. Apparently there's a demand for his products by someone. JUST NOT BY ME.![]()

TBeBe said:In my eyes, this is the difference between the RICH and the WEALTHY. I'm not talking millionaires vs. billionaires or old money vs. new money. I'm talking about the mindset behind the money, regardless of the amount.
What I've seen is that the rich want to show others how much money they have by buying designer clothes, hair product, shoes, cars, etc. The wealthy doesn't need to "show out." Yeah, they live well, but they're in the habit of making smart purchases, getting their money's worth. I'm speaking in generalities...
Even if I had the money to spend $200 on serum and not make a dent, I wouldn't. I'd still buy my $2.95 Blue Magic Coconut Oil, $1 Suave, mix up my pre-poo in the kitchen, etc. Why? Because it works for me. Money won't change the hair that grows on my head.
If the product was guaranteed to grow hair to the floor, I wouldn't buy it. What kinda chemicals or hormones would have to be added to make that happen, and what would that do to the rest of my body?

Hmm....maybe I oughta put mine on QVC. It'll sell out in 5 seconds. If his can sell out in 15 min at $200 a pop, I'm in there!Letitia said:I agree with the bold P1. I saw him on QVC and the products were just flying out the door. SOLD OUT!! I was thinking...What in the world!?!?
prettyinpurple said:Well if he can charge those prices, he can at least put a decent pic of himself on the website....he looks like fool that I don't want touching my hair lol. Not like I'm trying to pay him $900 anyways lol.
@ OP: I saw the same article and did a double-take too. The other items they were mentioning were not as expensive as this one.
