HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH.....Okay, now that I'm done hysterically laughing, um, NO!!!

When will people learn?

Let the guy make some money...but he won't get any from me.
The day I pay 200 dollars for some hair serum is the day someone better have me committed.

Folx would buy it (and on here, too) if someone claimed it made their hair grow. He can charge that much because he knows there are some people who always fall for the okie doke.

I think it really comes down to the expectations of that specific buyer. For Halle, Alicia Keys, and Joy Bryant (just for example) 200 has the same impact as 5 or 10 of "our" (Average Black Woman) dollars.

50$ Miss Jessie purchases would confound another section of the U.S. population. And then, when you think globally, the 7 bucks we might spend on, let's say, hair grease, would seem berzerk when a fistful of free lard is available. LOL!!

His prices are right in line with what "they" (the rich) pay. I always thought Dr. Hauschka's prices were high. Bruh is taking it to the next level.

I agree with the bold P1. I saw him on QVC and the products were just flying out the door. SOLD OUT!! I was thinking...What in the world!?!?

I would if it did the following:

1. Proven to grow hair to my buttcrack.

2. Protect my hair from meteor showers, lava, radiation, etc.

3. Bulletproof

:lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

Other wise if that criteria is not met, then no way jose!!

Ted knows that the average women don't have that kind of money to spend on a stylist or his products. He's targeting a specific demographic... That would be celebrities and the wealthy... The ones that have that kind of money to drop on him and his stuff.

I don't blame him. He's doing his thang in a big way. Apparently there's a demand for his products by someone. JUST NOT BY ME.

What she said

If people will buy it and he can make money hand over fist...why the heck not charge $200. I'm not mad at him

Did anybody notice the "hair sheets" over on the left side of the page when you clicked the link? Those look kinda cool...

I've seen those mentioned in magazines a few times and honestly, if I were relaxed, I'd be all over those jammies!

Hmm.. this reminds me of an old accounting teacher I had that asked a young man in class how much his shoes cost. He proudly declared that he paid $200 for them. Her reply, "can I step on your shoe?" to which he gave a vehement "no." She said, "well, if you paid $200 for a shoe, I'd expect a little brush to come out and auto-clean and polish."

With that said, I'd pay $200 if it did ANYTHING to improve the health of my hair whether it be growth or some kind of repair. I spare no expenses on health and beauty.. but I can see where people are coming from if it would make a serious dent in their bank accounts or something.

I would never knock anyone's hustle, but that is just ridiculous. The only way I would buy it is if I was guarenteed it'd help grow my hair to my knees in a year or less.

In my eyes, this is the difference between the RICH and the WEALTHY. I'm not talking millionaires vs. billionaires or old money vs. new money. I'm talking about the mindset behind the money, regardless of the amount.

What I've seen is that the rich want to show others how much money they have by buying designer clothes, hair product, shoes, cars, etc. The wealthy doesn't need to "show out." Yeah, they live well, but they're in the habit of making smart purchases, getting their money's worth. I'm speaking in generalities...

Even if I had the money to spend $200 on serum and not make a dent, I wouldn't. I'd still buy my $2.95 Blue Magic Coconut Oil, $1 Suave, mix up my pre-poo in the kitchen, etc. Why? Because it works for me. Money won't change the hair that grows on my head.

If the product was guaranteed to grow hair to the floor, I wouldn't buy it. What kinda chemicals or hormones would have to be added to make that happen, and what would that do to the rest of my body?

I love your response! And I completely agree!!!!

Well if he can charge those prices, he can at least put a decent pic of himself on the website....he looks like fool that I don't want touching my hair lol. Not like I'm trying to pay him $900 anyways lol.

@ OP: I saw the same article and did a double-take too. The other items they were mentioning were not as expensive as this one.

Hmm....maybe I oughta put mine on QVC. It'll sell out in 5 seconds. If his can sell out in 15 min at $200 a pop, I'm in there! :lachen:

That might've been the best pic out of the bunch. :/

I don't like to second guess the Creator, but what purpose do manbreasts serve?
