I finally decided to post so very picture heavy. I have been lurking for about 1.5 years. I'm a faithful follower of LHCF suggestions: co-wash exclusively; moisturize daily (saturate daily with 8 oz spray bottle filled with water, 1 squirt Lustrasilk, 1 squirt olive oil, 1 squirt castor oil); protective style; co-wash with hair sectioned; extremely low manipulation; light protein once a month; clarify once a month with baking soda; low/no heat except for deep conditioning; deep condition weekly; never sleep or lay down without my hair being covered; and final rinse is always acv rinse.
I have my 2 little sisters (13 and 17) doing the same except they are relaxed.
All the pictures were taken with my camera phone so they are not the best quality and sometimes you see white dots. I don't know why.
Hair type: 4A
Hair length: depending on where it is on my head...10.5 to 12.5 inches
Last relaxer: 4/07 or 5/07; I wasn't paying attention; I made the decision not to relax again 7/07
I have never straightened my hair. I may do it next Christmas but right now too afraid of possible heat damage.

I'm glad you decided to post! Your hair is so beautiful, I love the curls! If you ever do decide to straighten, be sure to take (and post!) pics for us all!
