I left my twists in for a week and then wore the twistout for a little less than another week. I know I wanted to straighten my hair one more time before it starts getting humid here. I don't plan on fighting the humidity this summer. So I blow dried and flat ironed.
I don't blow dry very often, so I'm a bit more nervous than usual. I also blew a breaker while blow drying,so that might have been you-know-who giving me a sign that I didn't need to be doing that.
I took this oppurtunity to trim about 1/2 inch. I had a few knots and splits, and I haven't had a serious trim in awhile, so I figured, what the heck. I DC'd, applied KBB Hair nectar and then Fantasia IC heat protectant. I'd tried this before and it was too heavy for me, but I thought I'd try it again. It's actually not that bad, I think I was using more than I should've last time.
Halfway done. I remember seeing LadyLibra do a shot like this and wanted to make sure I did this one day.
I put it in four big bantu knots and then took them out to give my hair a bit of body. These are right after taking them out:
This is after a few hours LOL!

For growth comparison, here is my flat iron job from about 14-15 months ago.
Thinking over my hair goals, I think I maybe want to get another 3-4 inches of growth and I'll be happy. I don't think I could handle much more than that
I am also considering growing out my layers, but right now they don't bother me that much.
