for me anyways.... I just started these vitamins called be-beautiful by GNC. I have been using them for a week now and though I cannot see a difference in my hair yet, I do see a difference in my skin. My face is glowing. The ingredients are what have me excited about this vitamin. It has all the ingredients ones hair needs and the pill is so small. I am not a pill taker but this is just one small pill a day and that is it, that I can keep up with. I will update of course on my progress but I wanted to share my new discovery. I don't know if this has been mentioned yet on the forum, just wanted to spread the news.

It has MSM in it which is supposed to be good for
hair growth. I may try these. Thanks for posting.

Thanks alot!!! I've been looking for some good small vitamins. Gotta get some. How much did they cost ya? :)

it doesn't contain biotin which is a good thing..

i thought at first that it had to be the key ingredient to hair growth. actually, i believe i might be wrong. i took biotin for 1 year. There was improvement in my skin once i counter-balanced it with Bcomplex. (this is due to acne induced by biotin alone).

I bought a HSN vitamin thinking i might be missing something. yes - MSM.

after 2 months i noticed a difference in my hair texture, skin, and nails. and i believe it really improved my overrall hair and scalp health.

This is the first biotin free HSN vitamin, that i'm sure will work without the acne break-outs that folks are experiencing.

Might have to try this, I also thought that the pill had to include biotin. I top taking my biotin due to it was causing acne. So, I basically waisted 10.99.

Thanks for the post!! Has anyone tried Intensive Therapy Recharging Complex Vitamins by Nioxin. I bought some yesterday. Expensive but I figured I would give it a shot:spinning:

It does contain Biotin, that is the first ingredient. Biotin is 3000mcg. it also has alpha lipoic acid which is suppose to be good for clearing the skin. Check out the skin care forum many ladies are raving about the alpha lipoic acid.

These cost me 19.99 for 2 month supply. 60 caplets.

Thanks for posting, I'm going to stop at GNC and pick these up tomorrow. I've been saying that I need to start taking my Vitamins again. I kicked back up my water intake so taking my vits should be next on my list.

Ellis, do you take any other vitamin (ie multi etc?) Thanks!

I posted a thread on theses a while back. I started taking them and they broke me out . I think it was from the Boitin. I'm fine as long as I do around 1000mg. I think this has around 3000mg. I'm glad to hear they are working for you. Keep us updated.

uggh!! whyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I still may give them a try and take them with prenatal vitamins.... Does this sound like a good plan?

I got my vitamins today. I will post any noticed results. I have no problems with high doses of Biotin or MSM. Ingredients list looks good.

Thanks for sharing OP!! I use the HSN Vits from GNC and was about to go get some more. I might add this or better yet/replace if the ingredients are comparable.

I will try the whole BE line. eventually...right now, I have to finish the vitamins I have before I run out and get more.

I didn't see biotin on the supplemental facts but in the description it says it contains 3000mcg of biotin. I'm not understanding???

Biotin: is an essential B-vitamin important for the growth of healthy cells.* Just one daily dose of be-BEAUTIFUL will provide a whopping 3000 mcg of biotin to nourish healthy and strong hair, skin and nails.*

The biotin is listed on the label. You can view the label by pressing on label listed above the information provided in the link. It is the 1st ingredient and is separated from the other ingredients.
