I wish she would have let us see her relax it. I would end the controversy of whether she really relaxed it or not. :nono: Her sides look a little damaged. Maybe it is under processed.

Lmao @ her hair doesn't look fabulous. :lachen: I'm assuming that she didn't relax her hair bone straight nor did she apply a lot of heat on it to flat iron. Who knows? I still can't believe she relaxed her hair to walk folks through the transitioning process. smdh
 
her hair looks dry and heavy with products. just lifeless. i wouldnt want to buy anything shes selling for hair
 
UMMM...she (condition of her hair) does not look like the one to follow for, hair, advice! And the whole point is moot...

WAIT, whoever said "...relax her eyebrows" is killing me...roflol! Brought me out of lurking.

It looks like she did a bad job pressing it to me. Never heard of her before this thread. Don't see any reason to follow her advice either.
 
Looking at her hair made me want to transition again.:ohwell: My hair looks nothing like hers, but it made me miss my natural hair. Her relaxed hair does not look good at all to me.:nono:
 
I don't believe that's relaxed. She should have showed a video of her relaxing. My hair did not look like that when I relaxed after being natural. And I self relaxed.
 
I was talking to my mom about her about a week ago. Apparently, my mom and one of my aunts let her put some kind of curly perm in their hair a while back. Let's just say they were less than impressed . . .
 
Just some observations -

She does not seem at all comfortable with her hair. I have no doubt that if there haven't already been some tears, they won't be far off.

Even though I completely understand how folks think her hair looks hard pressed instead of relaxed (hell, my first impression was that it was a wig), I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She has to know that people will be scrutinizing the hell out of her hair until the BC.

Her hair did not move once in the video which leads me to believe that she used some type of heavy grease to press it. If she didn't use grease and this is the effect of her products then um wow :look:

I watched some of the testimonial videos from her clients and one has apl-ish hair and the other is neck length. They seem like nice ladies, but their hair was not testimonial worthy.

IA with this and what the majority of the other posters mentioned...I could understand if her hair looked like if she wasn't the professional that she professes to be....(not knocking her knowledge) But WE (as LHCF'ers) know how we get when we are sitting in stylist's chair ...I would think she would have had a blow by blow on EVERY step of the process and have a better outcome than what I just saw.
 
Awwwww. She looks a bit sad. I guess I would be too if my freshly "relaxed" hair looked like that. Wishing her all the best and I hope the appearance of her hair improves over time.
 
I don't know what to think of her "relaxed" hair. It kinda looked pressed to me too. :shrug:

It's whatever to me at this point...
 
There is no way that she relaxed her hair. Sorry but I don't believe it. Plus, not only does her hair look lifeless, it looks damaged. Doesn't even look relatively healthy. I feel sorry for her followers.
 
My SIL went to her to transition a few years back. Now her hair did look healthier after she started going to Ms. Akbari. But all she did was stretch the relaxer, expensive deep conditioning treatments and roller sets. Mainly the tight ones that camoflague your new growth. Nothing a lady with LHCF couldn't do on her own. People just don't know what a little research can do for you. Save that money for some products! LOL
 
I'm sorry but she's lost credibility with me! First off, if you're gonna use yourself as the "example" then you have to show it off. She should have videod or showed a lil footage of the "relaxer" process.

I'm curious to know what kind of relaxer was used and who the heck did it! cheese n crackers.. I would be sad to....

I'm sorry, but her hair doesn't look very convincing that it's relaxed... I expected a lil bit more than that! :ohwell:
