Hello all :D
So I've been growing out my hair for 22 months now. And transitioning for 14. I had very little growth this year. And I'm assuming some breakage in between spring-fall. :/ I wore my hair out too much and it was dry. :nono: But I've learned now. I've started bunning again (since Nov. 30) and will continue until Feb. (I plan to straighten it then) I've also been keeping it moisturized. :yep: I'll make a more extensive post in feb for my growth anniversary.

Also, I've included some pics of my mom and twin's hair. I hope ya'll don't mind

Moving on to the pics

The beginning of this year no backshots til march.:perplexed

My hair was skimming my waist here in march (or a tiny bit is)

And here is my ending length

The top of our head, I'm pretty sure, you can see wear my relaxed hair begins.
My twin has some of the thickest and curliest hair ever. Seriously, my mom cornrowed it and it the braids curled.:giggle: I figure it's 4b/c?? It was about 3" uncurled (he cut it yesterday.)

Woo I have like 10 hairs touching wl. :drunk: Hopefully the rest of my hair will get with the program. :/ BTW that belt is to tell you where my waist is. I hope to have one of those by feb too.

And My mom's hair

Her's is in between sl and apl? It's curled under here so I'm not sure. She relaxes and trims to that length. Most of the time she wears it under a phony pony.

I did a bantu knot out on for christmas. My hair didn't turn out exactly right but it looked kinda cute I think

I'm aiming for wl by spring and hl in the winter (hl is like 3" away from wl.) I don't know if this is feasible for me with how slow my hair seems to grow though. Any suggestions on how to make it grow faster? (That said I have no money, all of it went to school. :( )

Thanks for your time. :D Happy New Year to everyone and happy hair growing. :)

thank you Newlife2011 and JJamiah.
Yes, it is. I wash my hair in 4 braids now and let it dry that way. It comes out really wavy.

I can't wait until my hair gets that long! Your hair is so pretty and I love the pic with your twin too :).

 gorgeous hair!!!

I actually couldn't tell where your demarcation line is :look:
I guess that's a good thing?

Wow, your hair is gorgeous! Congrats on sticking to your reggie and transition. That alone should be commended!

The only things that seem to make my hair grow faster are daily vitamins (1 Multi, 1 Super B-Complex and 1 Biotin) and regular workouts.

I don't know what that means. :( Do you mean where my relaxer starts? I guess it's not as easy to see in these pics. I probably just know where it starts so I can spot it. :ohwell:

Beautiful hair. Congratulations!!
thanks :)

Well I just started my reggie about a month and a half ago but I do plan on sticking to it. It seems to be going well.
All of those vitamins combind? I did plan on starting to take a multi. And I am starting daily workouts and eating healthier.:yep: Thanks so much

Your back shot is so dreamy and the bun, Big sigh....I'm sure you will have no problems meeting your hair goals. HHG

Your hair is very beautiful and it looks extra healthy. I am suffering the same issue as you. Now that my hair has gotten to a certain length it doesn't seem to grow any faster. Your thread will be very helpful to me as well.
