Thank you so much for all your kind words ladies. I really do appreciate all of you and the support that alot of you have given me.
I wanted to respond to each person, but obviously this thread has grown since I saw it last-this morning.

For those that commented on my straightening techniques, I used:

CHI silk infusion to rollerset
I applied a little Sabino moisture block and flatironed with Maxiglide XP.
Afterwards I applied a little coconut oil and rolled my hair in big sections, on big magnetic rollers. I sat under the dryer for ten minutes and then the swang was on:yep:

As for my regimen, I really don't do anything special

I do my hair on a weekly basis:

1. Prepoo with either oil or AO GPB
2. Shampoo with natures gate shampoo
3. DC with AO HSR
4. Detangled while the AO HSR is still in my hair, I also spray a mix of Suave tropical coconut and water on each section before detangling with a wide tooth comb and a denman brush. I braid each section as soon as I detangle it and then rinse my hair in braids.
5. I dry the braids about 50% under the dryer and let it air dry after.
These days I don't blowdry or rollerset much, but I used to do that in order to keep the knots at bay. This new technique of braiding each section is working well for me now.
6. I moisturize with Qhemet AOHC or BRBC depenind on whether it is summer or winter.
every now and then I seal with coconut oil or Oyin burnt sugar pomede.

This is pretty much all I do. As for my ends, I am surprised that they look as good as they do because I trim whenever I feel like it. I do it myself and as you can imagine the job is not that well done. I do make sure that my ends are always well moisturized though and for the most part, my hair is in a puff so my ends are not rubbing on my clothes.

BTW, for those naturals that like to flatiron every now and again, try out the maxiglide if you haven't already. You wont be disappointed.

Mandy, you are doing a GREAT job! I will be stalking...um watching your progress closely! Congratulations on all that retention!!!
