CurlyMoo, i read that you were taking the fish oil also. Did you notice any increase in your lenght?
Yes there has been an increase in length and fullness. But I won't know how much until my flat iron arrives next week. Then I will be waiting until December 31st to actually do the length check for the 2009 MBL Challenge.Just from stretching tangled hair I am very close to it if not already there.
09-30-2009, 01:10 PM Curlymoo how long have you been taking the fish oil
Ok recieved my bottle. YAY! Looks like a very large medicine bottle. Took my first teaspoon and it tastes like lemon. Waiting to se what flavored burps I have. Will take another teaspoon tonight at dinner.
ETA: Belch tastes like lemons. THE END!
what size bottle did you get and how long did it last im thinking i should just order 2 right now. Ive also been taking fish oil for a few months but its the gel caps by natures bounty and apparently its surely not like carlsons
So i just ordered my fish oil lets see the results
I am looking to purchase Carlson's fish oil..does anyone know what fish the oil is expelled from? In doesn't seem to indicate on the bottle from the pics that I have seen online. I have come across literature on the net stating to verify what type of fish (salmon, tuna etc.) the product comes from before purchasing..I called Carlson but it was too late so will call tomorrow but wondering if anyone knew in the meantime...
Thanks, but I still don't think I'm quite there yet, but I know I'm close.
I still take Carlson's and GNC's Zinc 30/Copper 2.
I've also been gaining some weight so I guess that adds to the overall health of my body thus my hair as well. While there are women trying to lose weight, I'm one of the few trying to GAIN it. I suffer from being underweight due to some metabolism issues, I burn calories waaay too quickly. I finally went from 95lbs to 111lbs, which is considered closer to normal for my height at 5'5''. I want to make it to 115lbs, and stay there. We'll see how THAT goes...
It seems completely unrelated to hair, but, when you're underweight like I was a few months ago, it affects the way your body produces hair. It's all about giving your hair the nutrients it needs to grow long and healthy.![]()
