Henna works for me. I use it whenever I see a significant amount of grays. I just got done w/ my henna and indigo session. Just use a moisturizing dc after b/c henna is drying.
I'm not doing anything to cover my grays. People have been asking me what I'm going to do with them, but I actually like them. My gray hair is bothering other people more it seems. I have a gray streak in the front and some in my temples, but I like it. I've earned every single one of these gray hairs!!!
I had my stint with hair dye, and it was okay at first but eventually my hair got damaged and broke off. I don't think I will do the hair color thing again.
Recently I have noticed some beautiful women with longer length gray/white hair and it is stunning. I'm trying to go that route.
i was/am using a rinse. no ammonia, no peroxide, no damge. clairol professional advanced gray solution

]Been using robert craig. Its really good. But please do a moisturizing DC after application.
Growth aids ie; castor oil, amla oil cause me to have to retouch 4-6 weeks.

I do a two step with henna and indigo for jet black hair.
It was drying the first couple of times I did it, but the last time I rinsed with shampoo instead of conditioner and I had excellent results and surprisingly moisturized hair.
It's important to deep condition after.
Nothing! I love my grays! I earned each and every one of them.
Not a darn thing and loving it. We really need a forum for the silver beauties!!
I called myself dealing with my grays by using henna... Now my grays are ORANGE! I've been trying to figure out a way to turn them darker without the use of indigo but haven't found a solution yet.

But to answer the OP - since I'm relaxed, I worry about putting other harsh chemicals on my hair that may negatively interact with the relaxer. At this point, I'm just not worried about covering them.
