Oh the drama AdoraAdora24! (From the amount of threads, the anticipation, then annoyance, the uncertainty, but hopefulness...ah!). At least it's all out in the open now. Congrats on figuring out how to post the pics and shutting us all up. And welcome to lhcf!

thanks for the comment. well to be honest, in school i use to teased all the time becuase i had short hair. i mean really short about ear lenth, reason being, mother didnt know how to do my hair, like some blacks think grease is ok. she also put rubber bands in my hair, you know those little colorful ones. soooo one day i thought to myself "i will grow long hair to prove that blk girls can grow long hair too" this was about three years ago. so i did some research. the one thing that jumped out at me was cathy howse. i found her on internet after typing, blk hair growth. i dont believe in "good hair" that comment pisses me off alot. so i did a BC two, half years ago at neck length. about a week later i found lhcf and lurked ever since. i learned more hear than anywhere else. so i put it to use and mositurized everyday and wore a half wig to school. i would sneek in bathroom between classes and look in mirror,lift up half wig when bathroom was empty to look at new growth lol lol. yes i was that deperate and obsessed. i usually do aphogee every three weeks also. i founnd that on lhcf tooo haha. i know its alot of protein but i mosturize so my hair is strong. so strong that i could probably hang by it:rolleyes:. i use to dream about hair. talk about it. think about it constanlyyyy. im still obsessed with hair.

lol lol knowing me, i might start another controversial issue. lol i dont meen to. its weird, but im alway debating with people, but in a fun,goofy, silly, crazy, dont make no darn sence, kinda way. i didnt mean to make so much chaos in this forum. (one eyebrow lifts)......i just wanted to join lol

You know its weird... I got to thinking...

Is it possible that some folks hair growth really only take off in their twenties?

I mean, I've seen some ladies with short hair their whole kiddie lives thru, and then boom, reach their twenties and their hair just grows like no tomorrow.

I know hair practices etc has alot to do with it, but still... just thinking...

Maybe hair has a growth timeline? So if you look at it on continuum... your twenties are your most 'fertile' growth period? And for others, it would be their teens, or thirties... etc.

I dunno, I'm just thinking... and typing... out loud.

hummmm.........(thinking), for me i just think it was me taking care of it and treating it like a person lol.... i kinda talk to it some times....:ohwell:. ok thats weird, but true. my mothers hair does not grow EVER. i dont get it. my sisters hair is sholder length. everybody in my family have shoulder length or ear lenght. im just talking out loud too lol. im still awake cuz im bout to shop lol blk friday ya know.

Sometimes this place can be a bit "extra", but you have a positive attitude and that's so cool!!!! I don't think I would have acted as civil as you did.

aww, thanks for that comment. yea i stay positive, through sunshine and rain. life is too short to really take what everyone thinks about you to heart, i just laught the negativity off, as long as i know im telling the truth thats all that matters, im just happy i got those pics up lol cuz they was readdy to BBQ ME. and for what?............pics. i keeps ma head up and my laughts up

I think that a new thread is warranted because I was reading through the thread and I was on page 50 something and still hadn't seen pics.

For me it was never that serious. I'm really not going to hunt you down for some pics.

I did find the whole .gif war to be hilarious though. I mainly went to the threads for that.

And you can't lie... you threw us for a loop with the multiple threads and changing reveal dates and whatnot. Early on I saw you even "tease" us by saying you were posting pics, but you just posted a blank post. That wasn't right :lol:

I believe you also posted a gif or two of your own, so yeah... it was undoubtedly a mess. :lachen:

Mostly just people being silly!

With all that said, it's understandable (imo) that people were suspicious. Your own actions added a lot of fuel to the fire.

And I doubt that most people hold any deep rooted feelings against you.

So... hopefully you will enjoy the rest of your time around here and we can all be civil. I would hope that this type of drama doesn't follow you all the time. :yep:

thanks, yea i was being a comic with the rest of yall, no hard feelings cuz i didnt burst out in laugter almost every 15seconds reading the posts. but that blank one i sent was actally an accident i was fombling around trying to do somthing, i forget. but yea i had fun, still having fun.
