You're right she said she was lurking that was how she grew her hair and she had been lurking for awhile...while she was learning how to grow her hair...duh :drunk:

I just joined and will say again if ya'll want pics a certain way/timeframe and got all these rules and stuff about posting, starting threads then when I joined I should've been given the LHCF rule book. And from the looks of it at this time apparently nobody runs nothing.

This is supposed to be a community of sorts where we can come together and share good or bad. Just looking back at all the threads Adora was just excited about sharing her hair experiences with the LHCF community...which had helped her grow her hair with all the info she learned from ya'll. But with the attitudes and doubt she was attacked from jumpstreet and its sad...:nono:

Again congrats on the hair pics and yea she is laughing cause I know I sure am....and ya'll grown...smdh:lachen: and no hard feelings but just like ya'll lit her up, ya'll can be lit up too....

I'm just chalking this up as a woman who is not internet savvy, doesn't have the knowledge of messageboard politics, but knows how to take care of her hair. Believe it or not, I know a few people (including my boo) who dont know how to post pics on a messageboard, much less resize, and upload them to a website.

There is no need IMO to place blame. Take ownership of what you did and be done with it. Everybody will still love ya! :yep:

Funny thing but I never thought Shima's hair was fake. I didn't mind her until I found out she stole pics. :nono: I wasn't really in the hair care forum like that until I started being more of a DIYer. I am not following what you mean by what I did. I was pretty clear about not caring for her approach and in time, perhaps that will change. In my almost 4 years here, I've never been in a funnier thread.

I am surprised she posted more pics. If she had never posted, she knew exactly how this thread would go down and lurked for 2 years I'd be the first to apologize. Just recently I apologized to *Sassy* because I'd constantly mock her because I thought she was a troll and I see that she is not anymore. It is what it is.

Adora wouldnt even have any pics up right now if not for fifty eleven people helping her get them up , and over and over and over offering to help her

there is plenty of humble pie to go around and some for her too

You did to her the same thing you did to Sassy, mock her cause you thought she was a troll. You can see that she is not. She may be a little touched (as my Granny would say) but she isnt a troll (so far)

Adora you hair is beautiful!! And nobody here has to like you! That's beyond ridiculous. It's a hair care forum. It's a source of information and support and it's entertaining. You log on we are here. You log off we are gone. It's not like you can call one of us and ask for a ride to work.. It's not even that serious.

I actually went thru her posts and unless I'm missing something she did not say that she knew all of this would go down. She did state however that she was quite surprised herself at how big this got.

I say lets quit trying to paint her like a lil troll...as she did what it do!!!

As far as I know there are no rules or timeframes on when we should show pics after joining. This wasn't the issue here!Adora came in bragging abt her hair beig perceived fake bc she was ONLY MBL. Of course members here being hair obssessed wanted to see pics. But she had none, and seemingly no camera, no facebook, no friend w/ camera etc. But some how she posted gifs! Lots of lols even a gif with a cat wearing a rollerset wig! Of course people were skeptical! I've been here over a year, I only know how to attach pics directly from my pc, not in a thread.I didn't even know what a .gif was, nonetheless how to post them. So yea I was skeptical, and considering some of the things that have gone down with reason. I stayed around for the gifs they were hilarious, and a part of me was secretly routing for Adora, bc who would go to the trouble of making all these threads about some dang pics. Alas, the pics finally came, and we find out she was a lil pic uploading challenged. We had fun, she had fun. All's well, that ends well!
