Hair Care Basics For Relaxed and Natural Hair

Class will teach basic hair care such as how to build a regime, how to properly comb and detangle, basic hair care tools that everyone should own, harmful ingredients that should be avoided or used sparingly and why, how to keep hair moisturized with good moisturizer/leave-ins, deep conditioners and co-washing.

subtitled - How not to slap the mess out of other cultures for wanting to touch your hair.


This course is an introduction to communicating with cultures with European heritage when the topic is AA hair. After completing this course, you will be a spokesperson for all Africans of every nationality. You will have the ability to transform a sideshow event into a fulfilling non-violent educational opportunity.

Intra-cultural Communication as it refers to Natural, Unprocessed African American Hair 651 U/G
subtitled - How not to slap the mess out of other African Americans for wanting to always have something to say about your hair.


This course is an introduction to communicating within the AA community when the topic is AA hair. After completing this course, you will be the spokesperson for non-processed Africans of every nationality. You will have the ability to educate and defend personal choices with regards to natural hair. During the lab portion of this class, you will build your physical strength and endurance to run from a mother or grandmother's small tooth comb and strengthen your neck in order to keep your head up high.
