oh, I also have been using coconut oil (thanks Iris) and I it makes my hair lay and probably adds to the shine.
oh girl , years back first it was the twisty bun or braided (which was it?) now this??:lachen::lachen:

hehe , I know you love it as much as I do! its the bizomb!

*kicks rocks*

Hey guys! Thanks for the compliments.

Disclaimer: As far as the bling, I do have to say that part of what you are seeing is the flash from the camera. I think my hair does reflect the light and in pictures, it appears extra shiny. It's always had that effect no matter what I use. I just don't want to make it seem like everyone will have the same effect if you use the same product.

That said - I do use this for leave-in and it does smooth my hair and make it shine - it is old school and I've been using it for over 15 years

I pre-poo w/ coconut oil 1-2X a week. How do you incorporate it into your regimen? Daily? With each style?

BTW, thanks for answering all my ?s! :)

Then, I use some kind of butter/creme. I change products. I used to use MyHoneychild's Caribbean Hair Creme and still like it

but I you guys sold me on Qhemet Biologic and I'm on the bandwagon now. My current favorite is Burdock Root and Alma and Olive Heavy Cream.

When I do twist/twistouts, I either use KCCC (if I want hold), njoicreations Herbal Styling Pudding (soft and bouncy), or EcoStyler (in between KCCC and Herbal Styling Pudding).

I wash with CON or cowash 2 times a week and DC when I can. Almost always have hair up and/or curly.

That's it guys. Sorry I don't have any big secrets!

Where's the Fantasia IC sold, wavez?

Just started using it. Daily - with each style. Even if I don't co-wash or wash, I wet my hair every day to style. I use it right after I rinse my hair.

You remember that?? HAHAHA! I was SOOOO stalking you. My husband helped me to that first one. You were the first person I met on Fotki who had similar hair to me. That was so long ago before I reconnected with you again on YT! BTW: I have gotten really good at that bun:

Do you just melt a little and apply with your hands onto wet hair? I wet mine daily too.

YEP that's the way I do it- not too much because it can get greasy. Luckily my hair drinks it up and leaves it pretty soft

And so the cycle continues. Each one teach one right? Pretty cool this hair board community! :yep:
