Ayuvedic powders and Braids?

Has anyone tried the powders while maintaing braids?

wouldn't you have a fear of them not rinsing out? you could just use the teas and the oils and do the powders when your hair is loose

Yip, I have. I only did tea rinses though, no pastes... simply because I didn't want to have to be picking the little bits out of the braids. I used Shikakai, Amla and Bhringraj powders.

Has anyone tried the powders while maintaing braids?

Do all treatments and rinse out very well sometime before you get braids. Never do a paste while the braids are in. But as a poster before me said, try creating a liquid rinse for your scalp to keep the scalp and the roots of your hair nourished and strong.

Remember Moisturise well in braids.
