Deeeeep penetrating conditioners

Hey Ladies,

Today I did a prepoo on wet hair with Motions CPR reconstructor, I hadn't used it for years as it was sitting in my parent's house collecting dust before I moved back in post college. That being said, not only did it give a surprising dose of slip, but this mess melted into my hair very quickly, my strands didnt have a chance against this deep penetrating condish lol. Prior to this, I looked down on the Motions line in general, but in all honesty, I had gotten used to the quote end quote "Good stuff" that typically sits on my hair more than it penetrates, that Motions knocked me off my rocker!

Anyone else had these types of experiences with unexpected products? Please share the weapons in your arsenals that melt into your hair like no other, cheapies, even better ;)

I regeret to inform you that I thought nothing about hair while reading your title.

I have nothing to add. :lachen: I hope the others do. :yep:

oh dear, I feel you lol! Im considering changing the title now...can ya'll attempt to respond the actual post lol?

All of my products are cheap, but I was really really surprised when I tried out my conditioner that I purchased from BJs.

It's a matrix knockoff and it is extremely moisturizing:lick:! I love this stuff and I will continue to buy it.

I tested it out after doing a protein treatment and I've been using it ever since.

Best deal I've gotten in a while and it was only $5 for 40 oz.

:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen: Glad I am not the only one. I was like "WTH? This is a hair board"

Oh right the question. This may sound nuts, but I have been getting crazy moisture while pooing. Growing up, my mom always used castille soap to cleanse our hair (about a 1/8 ratio with water). I just switched back to it and I am amazed at the moisture boost I get when I poo, and the tangles just melt out. Any conditioner I add after is just icing on the cake.

Do tell!!! What's the name of the product? Can you only get it from BJ's? That's that warehouse that's member only right?

Thanks Chebaby! Is this available in organic-y places like Whole Foods or do you have to order?

This thread is too funny!

Yes, it's BJ's wholesale club brand. The conditioner is called Amplifying conditioner and it says compare to Matrix on the bottle.

I've never used Matrix because I'm cheap and I only buy pricey stuff on sale but this stuff right here is wonderful.

It also has silk amino acids and wheat amino acids but they're listed very low on the ingredients list

It's a very creamy consistency and it smells great. Did I mention it's only $5?

I thought it was just me with a dirty mind reading this post title! Ummm.... ok, I actually like the GVP line at Sally's. And I still use Motions for my clarifying shampoo. I used to use the relaxer, switched to Mizani and liked it better, and used to use the moisture plus but the very first time I used Nexxus my hair had such a huge difference.

Ok, I actually tried to change the title as to not distract people from the mission at hand, funny enough its bringing people to my thread faster than any other thread I've started lol (outside of an illuminati one, actually)

When I tried to edit it, I selected advanced to change the title, but when I refreshed my page the new title didnt come up, can anyone help me remedy the situation?
Please don't change the title!

OP, Ya might just have to start a new thread.

I know the answers to your question exist. In fact, wasn't there a Deep Conditioning Challenge thread around here that listed lots of good condishes? Hmmmm...

ETA: Hey! You got the title fixed. I'm sure more people will chime in now.

Well that thread is far too long for me to go through and some of the conditioners mentioned I owned and it didn't react the way that a constructor of all products did...it tempts me to want to use it every week but I am not trying to have protein overload.

May have to add CPR on the list. If I can get it from Sallys I can always take it back!

lmao i must be the only one who saw the title and instantly though of deep conditioner... must be cuz i'm different.

I won't comment on the thread title. But after reading the post I see that it is about hair...:lachen:

Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle Deep Moisturizing Conditioner is awesome. Leaves my hair soft, smooth, and super manageable. And it's cheap. It's less than $4.00 at Walmart.
