:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Here are the pics I promised!

This is THE FLAT IRON FOR 4/a/b/c/d/e .... /z LOL!
It can get ANYBODY'S HAIR STRAIGHT,SILKY,SMOOTH, & SOFT - I'm proof of that!

First of all, I did not do this on clean hair (I know, I know) and I had just previously pre-pooed with CoConut Oil and moisturized the night before. So I had products on my hair. I didn't do it on stretched hair either (as you can see in the 2nd set of pics) lol. It was all flat due to sleeping on it loose with a silk scarf on). ALSO, I did NOT ever put it to the highest setting (450) I went from 305-375.. that's it. I am a die hard 4a for sure , and it literally smooths away the "kinks"....!!

The hair does NOT puff up and I know for sure doing it on clean hair that was stretched would be brilllliant! Also, the hair DOES revert back to it's curly state once wet. (I know a lot of people fear that). This iron is great for all hair types. The looser curled people don't have to put it on a high setting at all I'm sure if I didn't even have to go to 450 and my hair is QUITE RESISTANT!

The best of it all, hair FEELS and stays healthy. (healthy hair is a must in my book) It's like moisture is locked in or something! My hair was so soft and shiny!I didn't flat iron a lot of my hair because I was going to wash after that, but I just wanted to have the pics I promised just to show that this is no BS.

The CHI NEVER flat ironed my hair well. I had seriously given up hope on ever doing my own hair straight. And I DO NOT trust salons. The Chi left my hair dry and crispity crunchity lol. No swanggggg at all. :ohwell:

If anything, this flat iron is a positive thing because of the fact of it being 100% pure ceramic, (which means it won't ware off eventually!) Each time you flat iron your hair you don't have to worry about it drying out your hair like other flat irons can do. (But of course I recommend doing a DC before flat ironing your hair to lock in moisture) It is a WIN-WIN! :lick::grin::yep:

I PLAN on flat ironing my whole head for Xmas, and if I do I will def do pics! =)

Hope this makes your jaw drop lol

Your hair flat ironed is THAT bid-ness!
I would never expect results like those from home styling because I never flat iron my own hair but these pics make me want to try it in the months to come... Thanks!

The flat iron is supposed to be salon quality running at 229.99 ON SALE. The normal price is $359.99 (:nono:), but it seriously is worth it!

And you should most def try it out and post your results. =)

You are too funny!
But I remember wanting the sedu so badly!

I bought this other iron instead, it was NOT whats up lol.
Always go with your first instinct is what I learned , ha.

But thank you!
I just want other 4a/4bs to know their hair CAN get silky straight too!

Thanks for posting. I was waiting for those pics! How many passes did you need to get your hair straight?

no problem!
I love to help.

But it took I believe 3.
But I WAS experimenting so I did different things for different sections
(like changed the heat setting up and down)

This is only my 2nd time using the iron (because I'm doing a "let my hair get to this length, then flat iron" challenge lol) I want my hair to be a few inches longer and then do my "big reveal" or do it on Xmas. IDK yet. =)

I am on that "get to a certain length(personal) challenge too!! That is why I am waiting until I get back to the states before I use it...I might even wait until March(1 year nappiversary)...but I am so glad u posted your reviews....that is the great thing about the board...we have folx that are willing to try it before you buy it and give detailed reviews with pics :-)

sweetness0099 yes indeed! these forums ARE a blessing! I'm really wanting to wait until my 2 year napp or when I get 4 more inches. Whichever comes first!

well, i've been back and forth between the hana elite and the fhi runway, and between this post and a previous one i'm sold on the elite.... and its waaay cheaper!!!! I'll probably still get a FHI blowdryer.

can you post wher you purchased it? isn't it about the same as the FHI? Well, I know the FHI Runway reati is about $400 but some ladies where able to get it b/w 229-250.

Did it get your roots fairly straight as well? Did you blow-dry with it or just had it fairly detangled beforehand? What heat protectant did you use? Sorry for the questions I'm in the market for a flatiron so I want to cover all bases. Your hair color is gorgeous by the way.

That worked very well on your hair! Thanks for sharing!
At that price though, I'll just wait and take the FHI Runway leap....merry x-mas to me!

I strongly suggest this iron.
You saw how ratchet my hair looked before I flat ironed it lol.
Mind you, I slept on it and had it looking a mess before I laid down.

Thank you.
I know it's a lot, but I figure it's an equivalent of an average of 46 meals at a fast food restaurant at 5 dollars a meal, lol. So it will equate soon enough. But that will be good too, I just have come to the conclusion my hair needs something that helps retain moisture and conditions, and this iron seems to do the trick!

If you ever get the chance, you should try it out!
You may fall in love!

I purchased it at http://www.misikko.com/hana-elite-flat-iron.html, it's normally $359.99, but it's now 229.99. I was going to purchase the Fhi Runway but I've heard too many people say it just stopped working on them out of the blue. Plus it doesn't come with a 2yr warranty like the Hana. Their are so many positives to purchasing this iron, specifically from that site.

The customer service is phenomenal and the iron comes with a lot of things. Plus the packing is a tin can that is great for storage. =)

HTH!

Yes, it really gets the roots smooth! I didn't blow dry. I had my hair stretched KIND of, but it was not in the straightest state. I can imagine doing it on smoother stretched hair and it would be really phenomenal. I pretty much just did it on my hair in it's prepoo state to show how good it is.

I used this stuff that comes with it on some sections for heat protectant, but I used coconut oil (veryyyy light so it wouldnt cook my hair) as my leave in (i've heard of ppl doing it,so i decided to try it) I hope that helps... nothing is wrong with questions, I love to share the wealth!

And thanks about the hair color!!

:lachen::lachen:
You really broke it down right there! I hope I do get to try it out!

That looks amazing! I'm a 3c and have THREE irons already! :look:

One has a steam function, the other is my first that I left at home when I went away to college, and the third is a cheap one I got to just get the job done because I had NO money.

However, I am looking for a nice high end 100% ceramic iron to buy myself as a birthday present (April, lol!), so I'm going to keep this in mind. The ones I have now only go up to 220, but I've only every used that heat twice. I'm thinking about doing a BKT and I'll need a higher temperature.

Still deciding, but the fact that it LOCKS IN MOISTURE?! Delicious! :lick::yep::grin:

ooo you should try it.
the other iron that i know that is sold in america that is 100% pure ceramic is the fhi runway as we all know. And I just had a lady tell me that it turned off on her (I've heard that a lot!) At 200-450 bucks for an iron, it better not be turning off on it's own and not working!?!?!

try it, try it lol

Fantastic results. I wish you would have posted pics after you finished the entire head.
I love the shine and the hair looks soooo healthy.
