I just bought the Chi iron guard for flat ironing my hair. I need to know if I'm suppose to spray the hair by section and let dry or spray the whole head and let dry and then flat iron? Should I use this b/f blow drying my hair?

I think that I might use my Profectiv thermal protection hair oil to blow dry and the Chi for flat ironing until I can afford the silk infusions.

What do you guys think?

I don't think it matters if you spray the hair by section or all at once, just let it dry before flat ironing. But if your hair is thick it is easier to spray it in sections to get an even coverage.

I always airdry my hair in braids before flat ironing so i dont know about its use for blowdrying
