DO NOT QUOTE THESE ENTIRE POSTS! KTHX!
A friend of mine was over for a weekend visit. I've known her for a few years now and she's always had long, gorgeous hair, but I've only ever seen it straightened (she's natural). I suggest she wash it here at my house and let me shingle it.
She prepoo'd with some of my Vatika Frosting for ten minutes. Then washed with ORS Shampoo, and DC'ed with AOHSR. Then, I applied shea butter to some parts of her hair (I just forgot some other sections, I was moving so quickly). On one side, we tried Proclaim Gel Activator and on the other, EcoStyler Gel.
Both sides came out beautifully!
But we both prefer the ecostyler because her curls clumped together and we got more elongation. The proclaim worked nicely for defining, but not so much for stretching. But both sides are bouncy and soft.
Since she kept her hair straightened, she had a little bit of heat damage - her canopy was more wavy, with little definition, so we just tried scrunching. The side with the ecostyler, however, had much more definition!
She's about a 3C, I'm guessing, and BSL.
Enough with the talking, onto the pictures.
