I'm curious. How does your wet hair look in comparision to your dry hair? Post a pic of your wet hair and a pic of your dry hair.

creolesugarface there's not much diff at all between your wet and dry. I literally couldn't tell just scrolling past. Your labels told the tale.
BTW, you were are so pretty.
why did you take all the words out of my mouth
dang![]()
It's true tho...her hair really shows no diff in length or texture wet and dry. It's remarkable really, esp for someone of African descent. I'm quite astounded.
The way I've usually seen it is wet for relaxed = longer, wet for naturals (LOL)=MUCH shorter. Creole=the same!![]()
yeah like me
dry=up to my neck
wet=to my waist (but only with heavy product too)![]()
This is one of the pics I was thinking of that looks similar to yours
TAKEN IN 2005

but thats not just wet thats buttered up too
I think this is the ONLY NAKED AND DRY pic I HAVE and it happened by accident, got busy and let it dry, all it does is turn into a big mass, this pic I could barely hold it in the pony tail, also taken in 2005
oops, here is the pic LOL

Celina your hair has some shrinkage when wet, but not drastic. You have at least 2 diff textures (Iris/Irresistable and I were discussing this on another thread) that are VERY noticable. That's very interesting to me. (I could tell the diff between wet and dry cuz it's much darker wet. Creole's=the same there too)
For someone of African descent and natural, you too have rather little shrinkage. How does your hair "handle" wet vs dry?
Waitaminute...your hair shrinks to your neck when dry? Wow...that's some shrinkage gal!![]()
I always bend over when washing my hair, so I honestly have no idea of how much shrinkage and I never really cared. I'm tall (5'10), but I have to avoid getting my hair in the sink, if that gives an idea.
I forgot I did have this totally dry pic with just JBCO in it

last year
Do you mean how my hair behaves in a wet versus dry state?
LOL, it is very noticable. I thought something was wrong with my hair until a beautician pointed out that I just have different textures of hair on my head. It's hard to blend and I've just accepted that I will never have uniform curls all over my head.
Want to see something weird?:

^^^^I have little curls under my hair and big on top. You can really see a difference here.
The JBCO looks good in there, but I know you were weirded out by it. It looks fine tho, but your hair probably didn't like it THAT thick. Did your daughter like it?
Celina It's amazing that the hair underneath doesn't show much in the back shots. I'm just stumped by you 3 girls...you, Creole, and Didismirage. LOL...you guys are living proof my theory might have legs.![]()
Celina that's a VERY accurate description! LOL Your hair totally blows up Andre's little world. Given your many textures, do you prefer to handle it wet or dry? Are you an oil girl at all or only on certain parts of your head? I'm REALLY glad you did the "Bodacious" thread. It's great inspo for sistahs who have several types of hair on one head!![]()
Did you guys see how her hair took the colors differently on diff textures?

Iris what oils does your hair like best? Do you rotate oils? My hair seems to like diff stuff at diff times, somtimes it's seasonal and other times just because. Believe it or not, my hair's happy I added old fashioned grease back to the program.![]()
my hair drinks coconut oil and thats mostly what I grab and give it now
my other great love is Avocado oil for the benefits but the smell , not so great
so I just keep grabbing the coconut oil and my hair is loving it girl
I really think I could just use that oil alone for life
with an occasional oil rinse with Olive oil when needed![]()
