I will be 11 weeks post this weekend and will be doing the following:

  • Separate hair into 4 sections w/ long silver clamps
  • Prepoo overnight
  • DC w/ heat for 20 mins
  • Let dc cool, add more deep conditioner mixture
  • Rinse and detangle in shower
  • Final rinse with Roux Porosity Control set for one minute
  • Spray with Chi Keratin Mist, apply KeraCare leave-in, and spray with distilled water as needed
  • Rollerset, airdry then flat iron roots
  • Keep style by wrapping nightly
  • Moisturize as needed with Nexxus Humectin, NTM silk touch or Moisture Milks seal w/ EVOO or EVCO spray bottles

What are your hair plans? :spinning:

Moisturize my scalp with my oil mix ( coconut, vit e, jojoba, a dab of mt, aloe and whatever i feel like adding)

spray my briads with one of my leave ins

wait for my packages to arrive from shescentit and afroveda!!!

I'm hennaing right now, afterwards I will deep condition, moisturize and seal. Then I'll twist my hair and leave until Monday.

Mine is simple compared to yours SherylsTresses... i'm just gonna clarify with baking soda and water...dc... apply my shea butter and evco mix...buna nd tie it down....transitioning....

I hope to get a much needed trim this weekend so the plan is:

~ Braid in 8-12 sectons:

~ Detangle each section while saturated with NourishSpa Conditioner + rebraid when done.

~ Most likely I'll do an Aphogee Protien Treatment, I *might* try Roux Porosity Control for the 1st time.

~ Follow that with a DC with LeKair Cholesterol:lick:

~ If I was really being on the safe side I'd dry on cool in braids, but I doubt I'll have the time for that so I'll probably do a light blowout.

~ Press my roots and flat Iron my hair dead straight so I'm ready to get my trim:yep:

~ I'm hoping to put my hair away in a protective style in about two weeks most likely my trusty self installed Senegalese Twist extensions:love2: I feel it'll be the best way to get to my next goal of MBL, it'll give me a nice break and I get to play with new colors!:meme:

I washed, detangled (with my Denman, which is so much better than a comb) and conditioned today. Thus, I don't have to do much to my hair this weekend. I might just do a hot oil treatment and baggy.

Friday
- I will go the "herbolaria" (don't know how to call that in english, is where you buy herbs and stuff) and get some Horsetail and Nettle to make the Moe's grow recipe
- MAYBE i will buy a hair dye (not sure about the color, i guess i will go back to black hair)

Saturday
- Dye my hair ( MAYBE)
- Prepare the Moes' Grow recipe

I'm 11 weeks post also this weekend.
Tomorrow pray that UPS comes and so I can use my Sally's version of WEN Conditioning shampoo, generic Silk Infusion.

Wash hair

Go home, dodges series of questions from mother about why I haven't permed in two months (oh wow 2 months big deal), ignore lecturers on what i should be doing with my hair

Get my Product Junkie on:
Take a trip to Bed bath and beyond replace my Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave in, look for Vo5 conditioner.

friday: oil hair, shampoo (i'm going to try mixing my shampoo with conditioner) henna

sat: deep condition with la kair :) detangle and put in 6 braids to dry

Going on a quick family road trip & to an amusement park this weekend...

Right now, I am flat ironed (I flat ironed it on Sunday & today is Thursday) with a headband. Plans:

Friday: Heat protectant & a re-flat iron to straighten the reversion from my workouts sweating the waves back into the new growth all week. Keep until we arrive in KC.
Saturday: Headband, down. If we swim in the hotel Saturday night, I will wash, con & wet bun with con in it & leave it wet-bunned all week. If I don't swim, I will curl large sections (heat protected) with a large barrel iron and pin curl them and sleep in a bonnet for big waves the next day.
Sunday night- After my natural hair support group meeting, I will wash, deep con with heat & either wet bun or roller set for the week depending on how much time I have.

I plan to try the Morrocan oil sample I got from Sally Beauty during my drying. Next week, hot oil treatment to ward off kicking the heat on in my home/ onset of dry fall air.

Ladylibra got me wanting to use my curlformers but I can only do them late Friday or Saturday if I want them done for church Sunday.

I think I will prepoo with my vatika frosting under a hat at my meeting Friday evening.
then 20 min amla/bramhi (mud-as my DH calls it) treatment
wash with chagrin valley soap
30 min DC w/heat
curlformers

I will probably be up till 2 in the morning. Especially since my ion hood dryer is being held together with duck tape. I have my sister's old golden hot bonnet dryer but I really can tell a difference in the ion bonnet the the non ion.

Yeah!!! The end of my 11 wk stretch!!! I will be getting a relaxer on Saturday morning at 7a!! I have been bunning it all week...its cute though...so I'll be putting it into my rotation more often as well. I can't wait to see how much growth I've retained...and enjoy a month of flat roots!! Before I get deep in the next stretch!

My plans:

Clarify
Protein Treatment
Heavy Moisturizing Treatment
Roller Set (Oh Lawd, please help me with this step!)
Sit under my new hooded dryer and hope for the best, lol

well i put my hair through some crap today so tonight i will deep treat overnight with kbb deep conditioner mixed with giovanii nutra fix, wheat germ oil and evoo. in the morning i plan to co wash with giovanni nutra fix and leave it in a little longer than usuall. if i have time i will twist my hair with jane carter twist and lock. if i dont have time i will wash and go and twist on saturday.

mix ACV with water to pour over hair

then without rinsing that out, saturate hair with moisturizing DC, coconut oil and avocado oil

On Saturday, I'm going to go on a pilgrimage to the BSS and restock some staples that conveniently decided to finish at the same time last week. I'll also go to the Indian grocery store and buy some ayurvedic oils for my hair and neem powder to put in my bentonite clay face masks.

Then that night, I plan to:

1. Clarify with ORS Creamy Aloe.
2. Do aphogee 2 minute keratin, followed immediately by Nacidit Olive Oil Rinse.
3. DC with something moisturizing....not sure yet what to use as base. Maybe Lustrasilk Cholesterol, because I need to use it up and I'm almost there. But whatever it is, I'm mixing EVCO, PC and honey in.
4. Sit under dryer with that for at least an hour. (My hair, she's a little slow on the uptake)
5. Rinse out DC, do a final rinse with PC (leave it on for three minutes under a shower cap and then rinse it out), and finish with a cold ACV solution rinse.
6. Detangle with Kid's Organics Detangling Lotion and put some LTR Leave-In.
7. Rollerset with diluted lottabody and vatika oil on my ends to keep them smooth.
8. Silk-wrap, pin curl, and then go to bed.

I'll be doing in halves...maybe thirds depending on how fast I can get through the front section. It's a jungle in here. Then I'm gonna airdry. Dunno if I'm gonna flat iron yet. May just bun it up.

I'm considering doing the dream hair BKT..

If not i will:
