Wet Length shots pics

Please be careful if you decide to flatiron your hair. I would hate to see you have a set back just because you want to see the true length. If you end up doing it, please get a stylist that knows how to do natural hair. I say leave it alone!

I have a Chi and my hair comes out as straight as relaxed hair. I rollerset my hair first.

Tks for the advice! I think it would be best to rollerset as well. However, I need to find someone that won't just rake through my hair rollersetting either! Maybe I could practice doing it? OR go to a salon pre-detangled, in section with slip giving prods? We'll see...I'll hit up next year once I make the decision....

Just a reminder for people who say they don't see black women with long hair. With super shrinkage for naturals, how would they even know? I keep looking at the shrinkage pic and the wet pic, which may be even longer stretched. It's amazing.

I would go detangled with the pinkskates tension blowout, so all they need to do is flatiron and style.

Oh my goodness, Fine4 when I saw it was you who started the thread I rushed in here like I was on fire! Memories of that bun had me twisted. Disappointed? No, don't be! Easier said than done, right?

I also consider you to be at waist length.
If you want to hit that natural waist line exactly, in my opinion, you are just a mere 1.5 - to 2 inches (maximum) from hitting your waist. That's four (4) months maximum time wise needed to get there.

It looks great. It is full, thick and healthy! So many women do not have all the wonderful things that you have going on with your hair, right now. Keep going, you will be brushing and then passing your waist sooner than you realize it.
