Hi Ceecy!

Thanks!! I think Bohyme Brazilian Wave or the Afro Kinky Curly from RHO would be the best match for your hair.

Here's the info for RHO afro kinky curly. http://realhairexclusive.com/shop/hair.php?id=12371&type=bulkweave I would suggest only getting 7 pieces if you choose this hair. You can google a currency converter to figure out how it translates to dollars. I've seen this hair in person, and I think it would definitely blend. I've also seen someone with hair similiar to yours, and it blended really well.

For the Bohyme, you could get that on hairsisters.com, or on ebay.

I think you could also blend with Allaboutmyhair.com (AAMH). This hair is probably 4a, and could have defined ringlets depending on how you style it. If you choose this hair, you would have to leave very little hair out, and work a little more on blending it with your real hair so that it looks natural.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much, Ediese!!! I really appreciate. The pics from BHM didn't show probably because I'm not a member but I definitely take your word..hehe! I think I'm leaning more towards the bohyme one. I'll post pics to let you know how it turns out :-)

That AAMH is beautiful! I think I'll consider getting that hair instead of a straight weave. Thanks Ediese :yep:.

Ok I have one more question. Ediese, where did you purchase 20 inches of AAMH? The website only lists 10, 14, and 16 inches.

I get that there is some good info in this thread and we got hair pics (and you know how we feel about hair pics), but couldn't you have PM'ed her?

Because maybe other folks wanna know as well, and are probably too afraid to approach her in a PM.

If it's not listed on there, they're probably out of stock in that length. You should check back periodically because they're always receiving new shipments.

Haha! I was so expecting this! Well the poster above is right and it's quite obvious that I wasn't the only one who benefited from this thread. Plus, I plan to do a follow up and it only makes sense to leave a trail, sort of.

I just felt it was odd for you to pretty much have a personal message right smack in the middle of things. But there's always something to be learned; I also get that you wanted to share the info. :yep:

Well, if it helps any, I got some good info from it. I was planning to do an install in October, put in a search for "weave" and got a link to some great pics...

I was thinking the same thing, but now that I see all the links in one thread, I'm really glad she did it this way...

...and OP BETTER come back and post some install pics! :ninja:

:lachen:

Matter of fact, I'll add to it....Ediese, that AAMH is very pretty. Would you suggest 4 oz or 8 oz? I'm unfamiliar with buying wefts that way.

Oops..sorry, I didn't see this. If you don't want it too big, I would suggest 4 oz. You could definitely get away with that.

I have a question for you Ediese, too!! I see that you are from Texas...I am having the worst time finding someone who actually knows how do excellent weaves...not just claim too. Any recommendations??? Eventually I want to learn how to do my own.....but in the mean time. I need to do something my natural. thanks in advance!! :)

well ceecy, what did u decide?

Wow, I feel like you're watching me lol!!! I just clicked the "buy" button on my ebay order for the Bohyme Brazillian hair. Hopefully I get it soon and my friend has agreed to install it for me. Don't worry I'll keep you alll posted, pictures and all.

Thanks for checking back.

im sorry, lol... we have the same hair type and this is gonna be my 2nd/3rd weave so im a newbie when it comes to this stuff...anyways i ended up with the aamh...hope i like it, bobraz will be my next purchase:yep:

OP edited with pics of my bohyme braz install over christmas break.

I have to say that I didn't experience any of the cons I had read about this hair on this forum. I didn't seal the weft and I didn't experience crazy shedding. This hair was easy for me to handle, I used only one pack of 14" hair.

I cowashed mostly every day because I wanted to start out with a neat and less bulky look daily. I alternated between suave conditioner and VS so sexy con. and my fingers to detangle, I'm telling you this hair is so easy to handle! And like I learnt from Ediese if you want to avoid frizz, just wash and don't mess with it while it's still wet.

On days that I didn't cowash, I got big hair. It was ok to me and I got loads of compliments with it big. I didn't tie it up at night or use a scrunchie to avoid the dents that a scarf or scrunchie would give.

Things I'd do differently: I'd order a different color; I used color 2 because some of my hair in front has a gold tint so I thought it'd be bettter to use color 2. Now I know better.

I'd also leave less hair out for an easier blend.

Overall, I loved this hair and will be using it again once I take my current braids out sometime in April.

Blending tip:

Dampen and twist your leave out hair along with pieces of the weave hair. Let dry, untwist and finger blend. It makes your hair and the leave out hair a uniform texture.

HTH!

Thanks!!! I tried that though and it wouldn't work with my texture. Doing a braidout gave me close to the best blend I could get.

This is off topic, but is that what 4B hair looks like? I'm so confused now, I would've said 4a... nontheless, your hair is beautiful OP.. I can't see the pics posted, just the attached pics..
