A wig is THE best way to have short hair! I've had at least one for years, and never have to worry about bad hair days. I can't wait to see pics of your new hair!!!

I have been practicing with a wig I bought at the BSS the other day. It's not nearly as pretty as the one in this thread though. Cross-wrap or regular wrap seem to be a good way to get the hair as "flat" to my head as possible.

It does seem, from the internet reviews of some of the wigs, the synthetics do get ratty after a bit. A lot of women, if they really like a wig, will just purchase it over and over. I did see at least one thread on here about smoothing the ends of synthetic wigs after they start to look funky. I searched all the threads with "wig" in the title about a week ago, and that's how I found it.
