Boy, it is weird that last Friday I was relaxed and now I am natural. If you want to be natural real quick, just shave it off man.

I had been wearing a wig to work. Today I snatched it off in front of my class and you know what?

My girls hugged me and said "I like it!"
My boys told me they thought I was really pretty and how their mother's, aunt's, etc. had done the same thing.

Then they tossed my wig around and tried to put it on their heads:lachen:. It was a great day.

Yup your are definately natural...I just BC'd for the 7th time I just realized the other day. Thinking of keeping it short. Enjoy the short buzzed cut and not having to worry about your hair for a while.

You are setting a serious example for a new generation. When they see this in public it won't be foreign to them. Heck they may even be home tonight telling what their teacher did and sparking the interest of their family members particularly the women.

Be geared up and ready to talk about it at Open House!! :yep:

Congrats on doing your BC!! You're so brave, but why are you hiding your face behind your hands? I'm sure you look HAWT!! ;) Not everyone can pull the shaved look off, so work it. And kids are your worst critics, but you got your stamp of approval from them. You know they'd tell you if it didn't look nice, since they're so brutally honest. :)

I had been talking about shaving my head for almost a year now. I just needed/wanted a fresh start and new look to be honest.
 
Congratulations!!!!!! I did something similar 3 months ago.. I was just tired and hot!
 
Congratulations on your new naturalness! Enjoy the next few months when you don't have to worry about your hair, while its growing out. Now don't forget everything you've learned here on the hair boards including "massaging your scalp!":grin:
 
That's awesome! I think it's great what you did and I agree with the poster who said you are setting a good example of the next generation.

Congrats on joinin' the "You Know what?....FORGET A TRANSITION!" Club... Please keep us posted! It's a great feeling to roll out of bed, get dressed, moisturize that dome, and LEAVE in the morning. Saves me a good 30 mins. :grin:

OH YEAH:
WATCH OUT, you might have to learn Judo, Jiu Jitsu, or something, because you'll experience strangers with their hands reaching for your "sproutin' spriglets". Study up on you KARATE CHOP! :brucelee:

Even though I can't see all of your face in your signature, I can tell your face looks beautiful with that cut. I'm so happy that your new look is being well received :grin:
