Review: Super-Natural Kinky Kurls/Afro Curls at Lanik

In case anyone is interested in getting a natural curly weave, this one is da bomb! Jehan (http://www.jehansdesignerhair.com/) did my install and it was the best install / hair I have ever had. I purchased the hair at http://lanikshair.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=88.

I am so in love with this weave, I had to give a review in case anyone is interested in getting good quality hair that looks very natural. I loved the weave when I initially installed it, but I realize that when it's wet, all is well but when it dries, it gets way too big for my taste. Some people love very big hair but I do not so I used a relaxer for 10mins to tame it out a bit and I am in love, love love.

I co-wash daily! I have NO shedding what so ever! It feels like this hair grows out of my scalp and the way Jehan does the install, no matter how rough I handle it, it doesn't move a muscle. It dries soft, with very minimal products. As a matter of fact, if I put products like kinky curly, it dries crunchy. All it needs is water to rinse, and it behaves like real hair. It lasts for a long time so I can re-use it over and over. It looks great long but I like short hair so I cut it to this length.

Here are pics from wet - just out of shower - to when it is 70% dry. The ends will curl up when the hair is completely dry.

The texture of the hair is really pretty. I thought it was yours before I clicked on it. The texture looks great and very realistic! Please let me know how this hair holds up. I purchased the kinkykurls x2 from Laniks before she replaced it with this one, and I was disappointed in the end. It took a lot of moisture to keep it from looking dry, and the hair tangled uncontrollably and shed really badly. I wasn't able to reuse it so that was a huge dissatisfier and waste of money for me. Let me know how this new one works out for you! Thanks!

I foresaw that it might get dry and probably tangle at some point that is why I relaxed it with a lye relaxer. I have no problems now at all, and I am assuming it's because it's relaxed. I will let you know how it holds up in a couple months or so.
